Sunday night I managed three mid sized sandtigers all in the 6' range. Monday night produced two sandtigers one at 7'11" and the other at 5'. Tonight I was out for panfish, managed a few kings, doggies and a big cownose ray.

As for life in the Chessie, sorta' slow.

Been terrible all summer for most folks.

We didn't have the Spanish Mack run we used to have.

Resident Stripers ball the bait up every morning and afternoon but they are all about 16 inches.

There are some keeper size Blues underneath of them.

Most of the activity has been in less than 30' of water.

Tried a few times at night for Bull Charkie, no catches.

Did have a few screamers that broke the 50# running line.

So far no takers on the 100# rigs.

I have been using about a 10 pound chunk of Cow-Nose and gut chumming.

I know they are still out there.

Gonna try it again tomorrow, at least the Blues are big enough to eat, just barely..

Chessie surface temps are still way up there, hanging around 77-78 degrees.

With the lack of rain, clarity is good.
