Fall is coming to the area

1 post in this topic

You weekend warriors can't get a break, with the exception of last weekend.

The Chessie has been sliding into fall with all the rain and rough water.

Hopefully Monday it will turn out better and water clarity will be acceptable.

Gonna' give it a try Sat and Sun, four foot is about the limit I'll fish in.

Always a pain in the butt squeezing back into the slip with anything other than a N or S wind.

Got lucky yesterday, made it back in without boinking any pilings, and with only 3" open on each side.

Then there's a pulpit and anchor about 2' on my right as I come in. East wind is the worst, tends to blow me toward it.

If any of y'all are around the Pax area and want to head out and then guard the bow coming in, you are welcome to come along.

SAT W WINDS 15 TO 20 KT. GUSTS UP TO 20 KT... INCREASING TO 30 KT IN THE LATE MORNING AND AFTERNOON. WAVES 4 FT.

SAT NIGHT W WINDS 15 TO 20 KT. WAVES 2 TO 3 FT.

SUN SW WINDS 10 TO 15 KT. GUSTS UP TO 25 KT IN THE AFTERNOON. WAVES 2 FT...BUILDING TO 4 FT IN THE AFTERNOON.

SUN NIGHT SW WINDS 15 TO 20 KT WITH GUSTS TO 25 KT. WAVES 3 FT.
