Kayak Fishing Behind Assateague

14 posts in this topic

I got up this morning and hit the bay around 05:45 for some peaceful kayak fishing. Well, the fish were biting for a few hours and then the wind began to blow hard. It made for tough paddling, but no big deal. The water was very dirty all afternoon and the bite shut down.

Around noon, the tide began to go out and the wind was blowing from the south around 10. There were more boats making huge waves than I care to write about. :angry5:

Ended up kayaking from Frontier Town to the Ocean City Inlet.

Caught two flounder with the largest just over 17".

No, not until I get my truck fixed or spring for a new one. My kayak is paid in full and uses little gas. :)
