Snuck out to NOB Pier for a half hour at lunch and tagged on 11" flounder and had a few short strikes!

1st time out his year, hope in a few weeks I can start hitting it again!

I was under the impression we weren't to tag them under 12"? (and I tagged a 10 1/2" and an 11" thinking it was 10" minimum at first this year too!)

Memorandum from VMRC Dated may 5, 2010

"We request you no longer tag flounder less than 12 inches that are caught inside the Chesapeake Bay and it's tributaries, or inside Rudee Inlet."

Thats my next spot to target. Fished the rail at Rudee this morning caught 20 flounder on live minnows, only one fish big enough to tag at 16".
