Dam Neck Beach (DNB) Report 8/28 AM

Dixie, Parko, and I finally got to take a shot at DNB post Chapa's big cobe catch last Monday. Fished the 8-11am window to no avail do to a hard current 10oz didn't hold until the top of the tide 1030am.

We did each manage a fish (2 roundheads and a spot ~ bait) so not a complete loss and we were not working (glass still half full).

with 10oz can you still get (feel ) the bite for spots ( or any small fish ) ?... I didn't past 7oz yet.

I would never try to fish for spot with more than 3oz personally....throwing 10oz for anything is about my limit as its tough sledding after that!
