what is the tide doing? if it comes in it could be the end of the pier, if it goes out and the storm chills out it could be sitting there a while!

Tide was high around 5pm.......current running North to South..........may have a chance, but these North winds sustained at 25 ain't helping, just pushing it right into it.....................:BangHead::cussing:

As of this morning:

USCG states the barge is grounded approx 75-100 yards from the Sandbridge pier.

It is now in a salvage operation.

Salvage plans were submitted to the Captain of the Port and were not approved.

CG will meet with reps from the barge owners and salvage company later this morning.
