not sure if this has been posted or not on here but....

went to fish lesner last night, on the crab creek side noticed the water was very dirty. there is a dredger in action about 200 yards from the bridge inside the inlet. well i drove over to the other side (duck inn side) and found out why the water is dirty. they are pumping all the sand from the dregde on to the beach right by the old duck inn gazeebo. looks like they are extending the beach or something, but the water on that side was horrible. full of trash and very very dirty.

not sure how long they are going to be at it, but this surely will effect the striper and spec fishing around that bridge...

back to the beach tomorrow. fishing back bay most likely

It's nice to hear they have started the beach replenishment over there.

The Duck Inn already had a speck bite?!?!?!?!?!?!?

No, not a "Bite", but "Bites!"

As always, we are out drumming and they slammed em good a couple of days!

im assuming before the dredging....

went over the bridge last night and the dredger was on the outside of the bridge, maybe dredging the channel out, but did not see where they were pumping the sand, it definently wasn't duck inn area. stopped to look for mullet and talked to a kayacker, and he said the water was really clear and all he caught was a few tiny specks. he said he saw no drum and no mullet.
