does anyone know if there are any ocean master cape point conventionals available anywhere? thanks :help:

They aren't available online at Bass Pro, but you may be able to find one on a shelf.

It seems like they are phasing them out, perhaps to bring out another model.

I wasn't encouraged about the method used to secure the reel, too flimsy looking.

Perhaps that's a reason? Dunno'.

I almost bought one of these rods with aspirations of putting a real reel seat on them. Those plate seats are for the birds!

I have thrown that blank and I will say those cape points are nice blanks!

I love mine, I not had a problem one with the real seat great rod! Its caught more drum and stripers than I can count ,the only reason I would part with mine is get a custom, which may happen soon.

well you really do deserve a custom, :icon_thumright: i usually build my own but i sold the 2 conventionals i built, just want something now for when i travel to assateague and hatteras
