Bucket, my son and myself hit the beach for the last of the incoming and first of the outgoing.

My son was tearing up some spot on bloodworms and Bucket and I were sending out the heads as fast as we could. Only problem was the small blues were thick, so once the heads hit the water, the got eaten up by blues, then the crabs took over.

Water was beatiful and had a nice spot set up, just no bigger fish around, but hard to have a nice bait for them with all the other critters munching on the bait.

Packed it up and headed in when the weather became a bit unpredictable with some dark clouds rolling around..played it safe!

Total tally for the day was about 12-16 spot, 4 bluefish, 3 roundhead and a crab! No runs, no pups, no biters!:glasses13:

Nice evening on da beach....til later in the week go fish!

Would you have any pics of roundhead that you caught? How big do they get and how do you catch them? Never caught one before.

Bloods, sand fleas, shrimp or peeler for the roundhead.
