Friend of mine landed a nice Tarpon today and had a few more bigger ones come unbuttoned!:blob8::blob8:

Sworn to not to tell where he was at so don't even try me for the info!!!!

Saw a few brown bombers close in to the beach as well!!!:glasses2:

Thats awesome! The last and only Tarpon I ever saw landed was 150+ lbs. Do you or your friend have any pics that you can post so that we all can see it?

Nope,

He tried to snap one with his camera phone while holding the fish, but it smacked the phone out of his hand on the deck. After that, he was too worried about getting the fish back in the water and recessitated than taking a pic!

There are actually areas around here that they can be caught pretty regularly in the mid summer. Like Dixie said not giving it up, but start looking!
