big shark in the bay

3 posts in this topic

Shoooooot, just go any evening to the north side of Solomon's Island and watch the Bulls tear up skate along the piers.

They're like 5-6 footers, nothin' real big but still a grand show.

Bulls are the meanest, baddest Chark out there. You don't hand feed them, you "feed hands".

One was caught in a pound net years back way up in North East MD at the top of the CB.

One was found WAAAY up the Mississippi too, maybe near STL?

In Africa they're called Zambizi <sp?> Charks and all told (both names) are responsible for more deaths than any other Chark.

Diving the reefs in FL they say Charks are ok but if you see a Bull, leave the water NOW.

Thing is, for the most part, you don't see the Bull but it sees you......

Could you imagine hoping for a nice juicy catfish for dinner and next thing you know you're fighting a 6' shark on your light tackle... :)
