I am new to this site.....was wondering if anyone can help me learn to catch sheepshead. Have never caught one - fish the outerwall alot for tog +other fish + usually do very well but still havent caught a sheepshead.My boat is only 16 foot + i dont really want to go out to site 6....any closer locatons? would appreciate any help,best areas ,tides,rigs.....Thanks

I have also heard that sheepshead and triggers could be caught on the ice breakers out of Lewes De.....any suggestions?

Stick with it Freddy. That is the best advice I can give. The areas you are fishing should produce. The water still isn't prime just yet for those fish. I usually get mine on sand fleas off the walls and Roosevelt Inlet as well as IRI.

Try the S. Side of O.C. inlet along the rocks. Use green crabs, peelers or sand fleas. There are more reported caught in OC than anywhere else in the region.
