Lots of bird action with many blues and shads. The most exciting moment is when we landed a smooth dogfish not knowing the record we released him back in the ocean, but not before we took pictures. The record shows that the largest one was 19 lbs and 8 oz. What do you think?

Those big smoothies can sure fool you! I have had many transform from "striper" to "doggie" just before landing them. :angryfire:

It's always difficult to guess how much a fish weighs by looking at a photo, but my best estimate would be around 12-14lbs. They sure feel a lot heavier when you are trying to hold on to them!
