Does anyone have more info on the beach clean-up this week-end?

Do you have to be an AMSA member?

I have sign ups in the a.m. start @ 8:00 but would like to help out.

The beach clean-up being held on April 4th, 2009 at 8:30am. I ask that everyone meet at the South parking lot on Assateague Island (lots by the air pumps) that morning. We are in need of vehicles to escort people down the beach as well as trucks without caps or campers to haul the trash off of the beach after it is collected. Bags will be provided to place to trash in after it is collected. Just a word of advice bring gloves with you, they will not be provided. Lunch will be provided after the event for all that assist that day. Any questions feel free to contact Skeets Zinkhan for more details at 410-641-2244 and if you are able to commit a vehicle Skeets would like to know that also.

Thanks in advance

I would like to thank everyone that came out to support the beach clean up on Assateague Island this morning (4/4/09). About 125 people showed the interest to come out for the event. It was the largest number of people that can be remembered. This truly shows the people's interest in the OSV zone on the island. For everyone there, thank you and if you missed it, you missed a great event.
