It looks like 2009 will be my first season having a slip at Indian River Marina. I just bought a 31 foot convertable and hope to have it in the water by the beginning to end of May. I wasnt prepared to buy a boat this spring but I couldn't resist when my wife said " Tell the guy we want it" after looking at it for atleast about 90 seconds. The boat used to call IRM home a couple of owners ago.

the new boat is a 31 footer, the on vacation was 23 so it is a nice step up. I have about 90% of the work done on the vacation. You need a nice boat like the on vacation dont ya.

I have finally come up with a half-way intelligent thought when it comes to my fishing. I think I am going to take this year and repower the new boat, fix it up right, get the electronics I want on it, and go through it with a fine tooth comb and wait until next year to put it in the water. I got thinking about it last night and new engines would probably be a better way to go then to play around with the old ones I know nothing about the condition of and I will be happier over the long run. So this year it will be some sweat equity and a whole lot of cussing at my Wellcraft again. I am going to try to limp her along one more year I guess.
