Departed my house in Poquoson on the grady at 0645. Fished the mouth of York, York Spit Light and in between Back River Reef and Factory Point. Birds were thick but skittish. The bait was there but very scattered. No real fish marks. Water was

flat and glassy and boat ran great but fish did not cooperate, was hoping for some C & R close to home before he leaves tomorrow. He was thrilled because he had never seen hundreds of gannets slamming the water as they were. Back at home at 1100.

I had to miss out on a deep drop trip today !!!!

Hope weather lets me get some work time on my boat this week
