We set out of Garrett's Marina at about 4 a.m. and ran to Stigray point in the mouth of the Rappahannock River. It was very slow to start and then it picked up. We caught some really nice stripers, nothing too big but it was an all around pretty good day. I was very very shocked when we caught about an 8 in:confused1:. croacker this early in the year. I believe that it was a local. We did catch quite a few herring and bunker in cast net but other than that it was very windy and rough. It's all worth it when you're fishing.
