As I was driving to the fishing center Saturday morning at 2:45 a.m. I was noticing every flag I went by was just laying limp!! This was a great sign from the breeze we had Friday evening. When I arrived the first thing I noticed was the inlet was like a sheet of glass. We commenced to loading the Rudee Angler and the Rudee Whaler for our days adventure! The “no wind” was to be short lived. The further offshore we got the breezier it got. When we arrived at the canyon we had north winds blowing a cool 20 to 25 kts. Not to hinder anyone, our first stop lasted 4 hours without moving, steady catching blueline tiles and nice sea bass. Once again just fantastic fishing!! I almost forgot to mention we had two special guest fishing with us on the Angler.

Dr Juile Ball and Captain Danny Davis. Julie being the the #1 angler in the state and Danny being #3, I was excited to have them on our roster! After filling the coolers with blueline tiles and sea bass. We decided to head to the deep once again for more punishment! Between the two boats we registered 34 citation blueline tiles, with the largest being 17 lbs. And way too many more over 10 lbs. to even try to keep track of this week. We rounded out our catch with some blackbellied rose fish and 5 beautiful golden tiles up to 43 lbs.

Once again I would like to thank all of our loyal customers that I see week in and week out and I would also like to thank all the new faces we saw this week!! Weather permitting we will be running a second boat for the next few weeks!

Thanks again to everyone!
