Sorry about not posting for a while, but I have been away in South Carolina attending a tackle trade show. It is a show that I purchase all the new gadgets and gizmos for the up and coming fishing season. I hope I picked right.

But let me tell you about the fishing that happened while I was away.

The inlet fishing, by boat, was good most days with reports of up to 35 stripers being caught but only 1, yes 1, keeper. Most are still trolling with stretch 25's.

The guys fishing the rocks are also doing okay with short stripers and an occasional keeper. They are using bucktails and flies.

The guys fishing both rocks and boat are using white bucktails with white worms or chartreuse worms.

Well as you can probably guess the fishing has slowed down now due to the weather, but there are still a few die hard fisherman that try to brave the cold and wind and if they catch anything I will bring it to you.
