Hope everyone had a great Christmas and are ready to get back out there and go fishing. The fishing in the inlet has been slow but there is still life out there. The stripers are few and far between, with only 1 or 2 keepers being reported now and then. They are mostly being caught on the incoming tide with long line flies or bucktails. There are few tog being caught due to the lack of people out there fishing.

The surf has been slow also with only a few stripers and horn dog sharks showing up. When the stripers show up they have been caught using mullet or a yellow school bus poppers.
