A sizable school of rockfish was encountered North of Oregon Inlet making it's way South. The school stretched out for about 5 miles. The party aboard an Oregon Inlet Fishing Center charter boat brought along some beautiful equipment consisting of light to medium rods, looked like graphite.

Appropriate reels both light conventional and spinning. They also used buck tails of their own creation. They did all their fishing jigging. They caught between 40 and fifty rock fish releasing all but 10. One of the party members did not get in the photo nor the captain. All had a great time.
