:D The big croaker are invading the shallows of the Tangier Sound and surrounding rivers and creeks . In the past week I caught 5 over three days fishing . The smallest was 18". Last night I caught 14 massive hardheads to 21" ! The funny thing is that I almost didn't fish at all as my regular shore spots were taken by other fishermen . I was ready to bag it and head for the bar but decided to try one more spot . Good move ! Fish were caught on the out-going tide on bloodworms and cut fresh herring . The perch bite has slowed down considerably but I did keep 4 over 10" . I also hooked plenty of rockfish . The rivers and any shallow areas in the Sound will produce big croaker for the next 5 or 6 weeks . You should get in on the fun .

Great report! You should get some pictures for us next time.

One of these days, I'm going to go exploring and do some fishing over there. :-)
