Water temps have remained on the cooler side with the lack of larger critters that we are used to seeing this time of year. We have had storms and upwelling of cooler water pushing in lately.

This should be changing any day now.

Get out there and enjoy the day/night and toss a few lines.

If you can, get a temperature of the water surf side.

Let us know how you did, catch or no catch.

I will be heading down to AI for the weekend. I was wondering if anyone has caught any sharks lately. I will be on the beach all weekend (black, brown, and gray chevy with a jayco) stop by and say hi.

I haven't heard of any big skarks being caught yet. The water temps this year are very cold (for this time of year) until these water temps come up the conditions aren't right for sharks.

If the water temps don't come up, your best bet is to fish at dusk and through the night for sand tiger sharks.

It swam off unassisted and a while later it was back to chasing the bait fish under the lights in front of the pier.
