Gonna be cooped up in a week long class going through next Saturday, so I made a quick run to NOB today for some flounder and whatever else.

Got there right at the top of the tide and water was clear with virtually no wind and bait in the water.

Ended up tagging 9 Flounder, 2 Sea Bass and yet another small cobia. Cobia was caught by someone else, but it surprised me to see another one being caught, but that's a good thing. Cobia bit on a bottom rig tipped with fresh cut bluefish and went 18".

All flounder today were between 10 1/4" and 15 1/2" and most all were on a 1/4oz red head jig with a 4" Chartreuse Berkley Gulp swimming minnow.

Small stuff being caugt on the pier with plenty of cownose crusing through the shallows. Afew crabs being caught as well in some pots.

Oh yeah, a few small taylor blues caught today as well!

Out till next Saturday afternoon, so have a good week!:icon_salut:
