Headed out early this morning to beat the heat. No fish but a beautiful morning on the lake. Did see about 10 turtles feasting on a dead catfish floating in the water. Here are some pics I took. Notice how muddy the water is....its not often I see a lake quite this muddy.

I tried totake my girls (ages 4 and 5) crappie fishing today on Burke Lake and came up with nothing. Does any one know of a good crappie hole on the lake? This was our first time there. Thanks.

I've marked fish all over that pier, as well as down by the dam. I haven't had much luck with anything other than catfish in that lake although I must say I really haven't put in that much time on it.
