Yes gentlemen you'd be correct on that. There must be happening if I even blind squirrel a 46" fork length NC red drum release :eusa_dance:

Better part of the run was my daughter catchin' a sand shark and driving the beach. Possible that after April 3rd only a :icon_pirat: will be ORV'n the OBX :bs:

Will see,

Nice Fish Mark!

Were you down there for the ORV gathreing or just fishing?

VA Pilot gave some good coverage of the "peaceful" gathering.

Anyway, great catch!

I pray the Judge keeps free and open access. Planning to be down on May 1-4.

Good job! Congrats on the 1st of the year. And the fact that you can get the daughter out with you is awesome. I'd have to threaten mine.

bull drum are the name fo the game right now as well as some blues. S/SE hit Ocracoke, S/SW hit the point, W/N in the spring = stay home IMO.

Bunker all the way.

From my perspective, the good news is that it really hasn't started yet. Just a few picked off here and there (Bucket). Its lining up for perfect timing (May 1-5).

Hopfully my crew will be able to drive out to the Point and other spots. Leaving Wed. AM comming back on Sun.

the whole coast looks like that, they are just getting crappy readings last week and this week. I'd go by wind and not water temp once we hit april.

Yeah, the stability down there with water temps has pretty much been nil.

Probably gonna hit it Sat if everything shakes out ok in court as I am going freaking crazy cooped up in the house.

I can't even get some stable weather around here to try for trout!:help:
