I am looking to bring a yak down to the beach this year. My brother has two! Made by Ocean Kayak. One is a 9' Frenzy. The other is a tandem model.

Is that 9'er too small for me????? And is the tandem too big????? If given the choice which one would you try. What do you guys think about this.

The Frenzy will be fine Phil, capacity is 325 lbs.

It being short, you will be able to out maneuver us vikings in our "long boats". Very nice to have that capability when you have a wave coming broadside.

:help:

Well Steve it's good I don't top out at 325....YET!!!! Do you think it will be stable enough for a newbie. Don't want too many pictures of me swimming out there!
