About the only fishable spot in this wind was the Thorofare, so off we went. Fished the beginning of outgoing and for about an hour, had fish on every drift, except they were either shorts or bluefish (up to about 4 lbs.) Had one keeper on minnow/squid. Water clarity was excellent, temp 68.Oh yeah, my buddy hit another crab pot on the way in...got bounced off the windshield again...that's twice this year. This pot was unmarked, so I guess I can't blame him .:dontknow:

Wrong date...should read "6/5."

Thanks for the report. I'm hitting OC sometime this week if the w*#d lets up.

If you go north of the T-fare, up the main channel, watch your markers...seems like one or two were missing today up near the north end.

Thanks for the tip. It looks like I'll be heading down Sunday. With the NE wind I'll probably fish the east channel or arouind Harbor Isle.
