They're called ten inch channel locks and thick leather gloves.

yeah, saw that on the national news the other day along wth an interview wth a lawyer/surfer who got attacked by a shark.

I think both took place in Florida where ther were something like 23 shark attack's last year alone, wth 19 of them being in the Daytona Beach area.

as I posted on another site, I can't believe they labeled him as a "shark attack victim". they should have labeled him as "idiot who stuck his hand in the sharks mouth" if you don't have long pliers or channellocks, just cut the leader as close to the hook as you can safely.
