no problem, I'm heading up there either this afternoon or tomorrow. I'll let ya'll know how I do. I'm told they were biting on jigged grubs. My friend was up there just hanging out and a guy came in off a boat saying that they caught about 25 in only 2 hours of fishing.. I can't wait, haven't caught anything all winter and have been going crazy lol
ok, cool. good luck, we look foward to your report:icon_thumleft:
Welcome aboard, SteveO. Looking forward to some pics.
Can I catch perch locally around here? Sounds like fun. Sorry, not to sound like an idiot, which never seems to be a problem for me:D , do u use bait or artificials?
tidal rivers and streams. small jigs work, bloodworms, grashshrimp,
also just found out that shad pond and salisbury were stocked with trout the 28th
Scott, when they start biting, I'll let you know and you can come catch em' up with us. I have a secret spot!
PS. Dad tried today with no luck.... Can't wait for some perch sandwiches.

Coop, I'm just up stream from you on the Bishopville prong. I mentioned in another post that some one was fishing at the shell mill rd boat ramp and catching what I think might have been Perch. I will be trying soon and let you know. After Sam and Bud teach you the tricks to catch those little guys come on up stream and show me.
............ Red n' White Shad Dart tipped wtha' minow:icon_thumright: is what we catch WP on over on the western shore, @18" under a bobber or jigged.
now do you guys have Yellow Perch in your area:dontknow:
we were marking them by the thousands on the choptank river.....the fishing boats would wait till we went by and broke the ice up and follow us.....
Been 3 times ,grass shrimp are hard to find. No fish yet.
Last year they cut the whole creek off with gill nets. Made me mad.
Just drove by the head waters of the Wye river and no Yellow perch action yet ...with the way it's warming up I bet the Yellows start showig up next week at the Wye R.
