I will be heading our is several buddies to AI this weekend to try and hook some sharks, or anything else that bites. Is anyone heading up there this weekend, we would appreciate any tips on how to handle these guys. Also any tips you may have regarding rigs and baits would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for the help, hopefully come monday we will be posting some pics.

4. Hi - Great site! I'll be heading out Saturday from Northern VA to try nabbing Stripers on the Fly for the first time. I've got a RiverHawk (think Gheenoe) w/ 15hp. Was considering Havre De Grace as a put in but would take any suggestions closer to home. Any help appreciated!! Hopefully i'll be posting some pics Monday! Thanks Kevin EDIT: Furthur search of reports has Occoquan looking quite productive this weekend despite the past few weeks of coldfronts and rain. Looks like i'll be staying close, but would still like to hit the Susquahana flats when I have more time. How long are the spring stripers usually in that area? Thanks!
5. I am Capt. Keith and I run the Mega Bite out of the Virginia Beach Fishing center. This site looks great and I look foward to posting reports as the Charter season picks up.
6. I would like to say hello to all the members of this AWESOME site! I met Sam the owner today at BASS PRO SHOPS in Hampton, VA and was very impressed by what a great guy he was at promoting his site.....he just sat there and let Mark from VCAN do it all!! Sam was very informing, helpful and genuine about what he is doing..... I came home and immediately got on the computer and became a SUPPORTING member of this site! Stay tuned for our reports from Hatteras this summer! We are undergoing seasonal maintenance right now and getting the REEL ESCAPE ready for her journey south! If you have never fished Hatteras look us up! We will be posting reports WITH pics regularly!! We hope to make some new friends on this site and if there is ever anything I personally do to help your day on the water more successful please don't hesitate to give me a call! Robert 757-892-4642
7. I wanted to post some info for you all. I haven't had time to wet a line yet, but is coming. The herring showed up a week ago. The stripers have also started making a showing. Resident stripers are biting up north on the beaches and a few nice ones have been caught following the herring. Cut herring and bloods are working the best right now. Go gettum and good luck. By the way, I heard from a "very good source", the stripers were off AI on the VA side. The report was stripers were actually pushing bait on the beach. I hope to be posting a few pics here, very shortly.
8. Sam. I am new to this site, and do not want to paint out side the lines. I am a inshore quide in Richmond Hill GA. If I post a fishing report for our area from time to time, and show my company name will that be out of order. I in no way want to cause this web site any pain. Just drop me a note Thank you Capt. Bob///

13. Hey guys...figured I should ask the experts on this one before I spend the money on the rigging equipment! Well...How should I rig up for smaller-medium sized sharks on one OM Heaver spinning rod and a Daiwa medium-heavy spinning rod. The reel on the OM has about 450 yards of 15lb ande line and my other reel has about 220-245 yards of 30lbs braid. Any tips or pictures would help greatly!!!!! Also I will be posting in the Join Me forum for the time that I am going to be down there and hopefully get together with some of you and hopefully stop in at Snappers for dinner!

I had a big pot of Chile mad ewith Chuck Roast instead of Hamburger and a full Chuck Roast. I'm fine as long as I'm fed. No Rock but I did pull in a Skate and my goal was to catch something!

23. I know some of this crazy internet, fishing, posting, picture stuff is a lot to take on, but it is what this site is all about. Once you get acclimated to it, and use it's features a few times, you will get the hang of it and enjoy posting pictures as much as you enjoy seeing them. If you don't have a digital camera to take with you on your fishing adventures, get one. They are relatively inexpensive (especially compared to that new rod/reel combo you just bought) and they will help you keep your fishing experience forever. You obviously know how to use a computer and get logged in, so the hard part is behind you. If you need any help buying a camera, taking a picture, downloading it to your computer, posting it on your topic or anything else, make sure you let us know on here. We are more than willing to help! - Support Staff (actually this is sam speaking for every moderator)
24. When I first started posting on forums, I was always embarrassed about my spelling. I wasn't sure if I spelled half my words correctly. I used to copy and past most of my posts to Microsoft word and do a complete spell check to make sure everything was okay. Well, since then i have discovered something that has helped me a lot. The Google Toolbar. It has a built in spell checker for all forums. Do yourself a favor and download it. At the top of your browser screen, you will see a new line of icons. the one in the middle is the spell checker. Click on this picture to get a better idea of what it looks like. :v:
25. I'm going to attempt to post a pic of a decent zebra from last year . The fish was caught on a live eel using a Shimano 4500 and 17lb Trilene Big Game Line and a 7' MH OB Rod . We were fishing at the CBBT in December in about 40' next to one of the HI-RISE Pilings . Try and guess the wait and length and I'll take you to one of my "Secret Spots" for the big perch . Oops ! I think I'll have to try posting again
