1. Wish we were still open. We miss seeing our customers . . . friends. Terry & I were just talking about how we could get back in the bait business; however, we do not have any time as Terry is scheduled to have a liver transplant at Johns Hopkins and our daughter is the live donor. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers. When Terry has recovered, we hope to see everyone on the beach in the upcoming year. Beverly Fleming, former owner of Harbor Tackle

3. In order for AMSA to finalize the plans for the 12th Annual Harbor Tackle Red Drum Tournament sponsored by AMSA scheduled for Sept. 19 thru 22, 2013, the cut off date for entries will be Sept. 9th. By that date there must be at least 30 entrants; otherwise, the tournament will be cancelled. For questions feel free to contact Terry or Beverly Fleming at 410-957-4516. Thank you for co-operation.
4. When that first rod went down at 7:05 AM Saturday morning, we though we off to a geat start for the tourney. Richard Warfield caught a 29 inch striper in front of the Bull Pen. But it was the one and only. It was a beautiful November weekend for fishing. Saturday night the grass came in and that was it. Slowly Sunday morning and into the afternoon everyone gave up except John Mantz and Erik Eskildsen and they perservered until 3 PM; however, to no avail the one fish took it all.

6. We are doing great. I'm trying to talk Terry into going to the beach. He is busy planting a garden.
7. The invitations will be going out sometime in June.
8. We are enjoying retirement, especially sleeping late after having to get up so many mornings to open up the store.
9. Buck's Place was sold at action on the Court House steps in Snow Hill last Friday. On Saturday someone painted the outside of the buidling and in the window there is a sign that says they will be opening under new managment. Alltackle is selling fresh bunker and live chowder clams.
10. At the National Park Service’s request, there will be changes to the time the Red Drum Tournament begins and ends. The dates will stay the same; however, the tourney will begin at 3 PM Thursday, September 22. 2011 instead of the 12:01 AM Friday and will end at 6 AM Sunday, September 25, 2011 instead of 3 PM Sunday. AMSA hopes this will not be inconvenience to you. Looking forward to seeing everyone. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
11. The Annual Harbor Tackle Red Drum Tournament and the Annual Harbor Tackle Assateague Striped Bass Tournament are now sponsored by AMSA. The tourneys will be run the same as in the past. The Red Drum dates are September 23 – 25, 2011 and the Striper dates are November 19-20, 2011. The invitations will be mailed out in June. Any questions email Beverly and Terry Fleming at btf25@aol.com. The 32nd Annual Mid-Atlantic Surf Fishing Tournament sponsored by the Ocean City Surf Anglers is scheduled for October 6-8, 2011. The AMSA Surf Fishing Tournament is scheduled for October 20-22, 2011.
12. As Terry & I are packing up 10 years of memories from our store (19 years if you go back to our first bait & tackle we opened in Ocean City proper), we were thinking about all our friends we will not have the opportunity to serve again. We want to remind you that everyone is invited to our closing party on Jan. 22, 2011 starting at 7 PM at the Rt. 707 Sports Bar & Grill on Old Ocean City Rd. West Ocean City, Md. Free draft beer & finger food. We look forward to seeing you at our party.
