  1. It’s not just that they are winning Jurrell Casey Jersey , but it is HOW they are winning and WHO they are defeating. That is the more telling story that is deeper than the hash marks in the win column. The Titans have found their “why”. What is their why? C’mon - we all know the answer to that.For. The. Boys.Division LeadersThe Titans lead the AFC South and have collected two division wins against two teams many felt were at the top of the South.Douglas DeFelice-USA TODAY SportsThe Texans were predicted to potentially win the south, or at least secure a wildcard spot because the return of QB Deshaun Watson - who was supposedly going to be in the league MVP race - would take Houston to the promise land. Houston is 1-3.The Jaguars were predicted to make a run to the Super Bowl. Many pegged them as the team to represent the AFC in Atlanta this season. After thwarting Tom Brady and the Patriots, some went ahead and penciled them in the football finale.Jacksonville is 3-1.But wait - let’s look at the Jaguars 3-1 record. They nearly lost the opener to a Giants team we now know isn’t good. They beat an Patriots team in September - a month New England tends to struggle in. Jacksonville beat the New York Jets last week - a team that lost to a Cleveland Browns team that hadn’t won since Christmas Eve of 2016.The Titans defeated the Jaguars - in Jacksonville. Yet, some still have the Jaguars ahead of the Titans.ContextContext, people. Context. The Titans (disastrous) opener in Miami should have derailed this team completely. Losing Delanie Walker, Marcus Mariota and Taylor Lewan in the same game - I mean, that’s a devastating blow to the locker room energy. But - because of the new coaching staff - it wasn’t. The storm was weathered.HC Mike Vrabel and his coaching staff prepared a roster depleted of talent at key spots to face a Watson-led Texans team. The last time Watson had played the Titans, Houston dropped 50 points. The game plan was tailored to the available personnel and the Titans executed it to near perfection. In a game the team had to pull out all the stops - they did just that and it earned them their first division win of the season.Jacksonville was slated to annihilate the Titans especially when Blaine Gabbert was listed to start his second consecutive game. Gabbert, who did a solid job against Houston, was knocked out and Mariota came in and completely took over. The win wasn’t pretty, but an ugly win is better than a pretty loss any day of the week.Next up was the defending Super Bowl Champions - the Philadelphia Eagles. Carson Wentz would start his second game of the season and the Eagles would secure a 17-3 lead deep into the third quarter. Some called ball game. Some let the “same-old-Titans” feelings consume them. However, the coaching staff had the buy in from the players - and the players had the belief in each other - that this team was different. This team was built to overcome. The Tennessean-USA TODAY NETWORKWhat. A. Finish. It took five quarters, a handful of 4th down conversions, a little bit of luck and the confidence to overcome the adversity of the moment - but in the end, the Titans did the impossible. Wins in that fashion tend to do things to the overall psyche of a football team.Trap Game LoomsThe Buffalo Bills - who have a deep-seeded hatred for the Titans because of the Music City Miracle - will be an interesting match up.On paper Cheap Rashaan Evans Jersey , the Titans should destroy this team. However, so should Minnesota. Which Bills team will show up in front of their home crowd? The team that dominated the Vikings or the team that was crucified in week one by the Ravens and crushed by Aaron Rodgers and the Pack in week four. The Titans are in a tough spot and Vrabel will spend the time necessary during the week to ensure his team doesn’t go into Buffalo overconfident. If Vrabel is able to refocus the team on the task at hand, the Titans will be in a solid position in the AFC. The Tennessean-USA TODAY NETWORKThe Titans follow their road trip to Buffalo by hosting another contending AFC team in the Baltimore. A win against the Bills is crucial heading into the Baltimore game - a match up that will be littered with it’s own story lines. But that’s two weeks away. The Titans must take care of business in Buffalo.Vrabel will have the boys ready.Gameday Starting 11: Titans-Texans Here are 11 quick thoughts and/or statsabout today’s game as we get ready for the Titans home opener against the Texans.Get loud Titans fans. If you’re reading this and going to the game, or know someone who is, please bring some energy. I know this team hasn’t always given the fans a ton to cheer about, but Titans games are simply more fun when the fans are in to it. Debuts of top draft picks Rashaan Evans and Harold Landry. The good injury news has all come on the defensive side of the ball as the Titans top two picks should both make their NFL debuts today after missing the Miami game. Landry is another reason for Titans fans to get loud on Sundays. He’s the best speed rusher the team has had in quite some time and nobody will benefit from crowd noise on pass rush downs more than him. With the Texans starting two suspect tackles, Landry could make a big impact early. Where Evans fits in will be interesting. He is a physical, tone-setting inside linebacker who can also add some juice as a pass rusher. Mariota or Gabbert? Obviously this is THE big question. If Mariota still isn’t able to grip the ball the way he normally does — or could be at risk of making the injury worse — I don’t see how they can put him out there. If Gabbert is the guy, again, I don’t think this is an automatic loss. I know he is a social media and message board punch line, but the guy won 2 of his 3 home starts with the Cardinals last season and showed the ability to move the ball at times during the second half of the Miami game. To be clear, Gabbert is going to need big time help from his defense to get it done, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility that he could win this game if called upon. Everyone had Ryan Fitzpatrick putting up 48 on the road to beat Drew Brees last week, right? The Titans offensive line, even with 4th and 5th options starting at tackle http://www.titanscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-josh-kline-jersey , is still better than the Texans offensive line. I know it’s easy to get caught up in the drama surrounding the Titans revolving door of starting tackles right now, but the Texans are essentially in the same boat — maybe even worse — with 3rd round rookie Martinas Rankin thrust in to the starting left tackle spot and Julie’n Davenport shifting to right tackle. Rankin will be making his first NFL start, while Davenport makes his 6th start of his young career (his first at right tackle). Give me Pamphile-Spain-Jones-Kline-Marz over Rankin-Kelemete-Martin-Fulton-Davenport. Since 2010, teams that open the season with two straight road games are 4-21 in the second game. The Texans traveled to New England last week and are obviously on the road again here. DeAndre Hopkins owns the Titans traditionally, but can he do it against the revamped secondary? I’ve posted these stats elsewhere, but I’m putting them here as well because they’re just so ridiculous. The Texans star receiver has had 5 of his 18 100-yard receiving games against the Titans and 1,010 of his 5,943 career receiving yards against Tennessee. The good news is that the Titans have moved on from the days when Hopkins could pick on the likes of Blidi Wreh-Wilson, Perrish Cox, and Brice McCain. They can now trot out a solid four deep corner rotation and three of those four have had real success against Hopkins at points in their careers. A guy like him is still going to catch some passes, but can the Titans corners hold him to a minimal impact?Bill O’Brien is 6-2 against the Titans as a head coach, but 0-2 in his last two trips to Nashville. In his 6 wins he has often blown out Tennessee with an average margin of victory of 21.7 points. However, like the revamped secondary, this is also a completely rebuilt coaching staff in Tennessee, one that was built with parts of the Texans staff. Will O’Brien continue his mastery of the Titans or will Vrabel take down his old boss and push Tennessee’s home winning streak over Houston to 3?Jonnu Smith’s first start as TE1. Smith has been listed as a starter 14 times over his first 17 regular season NFL games Cheap Will Compton Jersey , but this will be his first as the tight end at the top of the depth chart after Delanie Walker’s horrific ankle injury in Week 1. The guy that has often been compared physically to Walker will now get a chance to give his best impression of the Titans star tight end. Tennessee will need him to develop in a hurry now. A small silver lining to Walker’s exit could be that the Titans become less predictable on 3rd downs. Who becomes the team’s new go-to target on 3rd downs? Walker was clearly Marcus Mariota’s security blanket over the past few seasons. The young Titans quarterback would look for No. 82 often, especially in key situations. Now that role has to shift elsewhere. The natural choices seem to be either Corey Davis or Rishard Matthews. Matthews has been a chain mover and reliable target for Mariota, but Week 1’s gameplan clearly featured Davis as the 13 targets he wasgiven led the team by a long shot. Smith and running back Dion Lewis could also factor in to this conversation. Get Taywan Taylor more involved. I’m an unashamed Taylor believer. He’s simply too talented and dynamic as both a home run threat and an after the catch playmaker for the Titans to only give him 9 snaps in Miami. This is even more glaring this week. With the tackle and quarterback situations facing them, it would be wise to find a way to use Taylor on some screens and let him create after the catch to take some pressure off the tackles and quarterback. The Titans defense needs to dominate... and score. Tennessee’s defense was just OK in Miami. They created a couple turnovers and had a sack, but they will need to provide much more to get a win against Houston. Deshaun Watson is talented, dynamic, and fun to watch, but he’s also still a young quarterback who is prone to mistakes. In 7 NFL starts, he has thrown 9 interceptions and fumbled 4 times. According to PFF’s charting, he threw turnover worthy throws at the 9th highest rate among all NFL QBs in 2017. When playing on the road Watson tends to be more mistake prone, throwing 6 of his 9 interceptions in 4 road starts. If the Titans defense can force him in to a couple mistakes and then capitalize on them, that could make a huge difference in the outcome of this one. Last season, team’s who scored a non-offensive touchdown won 70% of their games.
  2. If you’re just box score scouting Philadelphia Eagles Hoodie , you might not think Carson Wentz’s first game back with the Eagles since tearing his ACL/LCL last year was super impressive. The 25-year-old passer completed 25 of his 37 attempts for 255 yards (6.9 average), one touchdown, one interception, and a 84.9 passer rating during Philadelphia’s Week 3 win over the Colts. But as you’d know from watching the game, the stats don’t tell the whole story. Wentz showed a number of encouraging signs that bode well for him and the Eagles moving forward this season. Let’s take a look back at those moments.AccuracyThis is Wentz’s first completion of the game. He places the throw right over the outstretched arm of a Colts linebacker to fit the ball to Zach Ertz, who has a safety bearing down on him. Keeping his eyes down the fieldAlthough the result of the play is obviously different, this play reminds me of Wentz’s scramble against Washington in Week 1 last year. Wentz shows no signs of injury as he scrambles around and manages to keep his eyes down the field to make something out of a broken play. MobilityThe Colts get a free rusher on a stunt here but it doesn’t matter. Wentz steps up to avoid the oncoming rusher. Then he spins out of harm’s way after feeling pressure from his right side and sprints for a diving first down. Again, there’s just zero sign of injury here. StrengthWentz’s signature play from Sunday’s game. The third-year quarterback avoids being sacked by defenders going after his legs and delivers a throw to Nelson Agholor for a CLUTCH third down conversion. The way Wentz holds up in the pocket here reminds me a little of his touchdown throw to Corey Clement in the Week 7 Washington game from last season. When NFL coaches and defenders talk about the challenge of defending against players like Cam Newton and Ben Roethlisberger Customized Philadelphia Eagles Jerseys , they often talk about how their size and strength makes them so hard to take down. Wentz belongs in that category as well.RustOf course, Wentz did show some rust in his first game back. Doug Pederson’s explanation for this interception: “Just eyed up Zach. Just stared him down. Can’t do that. Brought the defender right there. Just a poor decision.”Wentz’s fumble seemed like more of a good play by the defense than a huge mistake by him. Perhaps he should’ve gotten the ball out faster. But credit the 6-8 Margus Hunt, who’s been off to a strong start this year, for reaching around Lane Johnson and knocking the ball free. Not the easiest day to hold on to the ball anyway given the rainy conditions. It’s frustrating Wentz couldn’t get a conversion on this play. He had Kamar Aiken open for an easy first down the entire play. Corey Clement was also free if the ball didn’t come out so late. CONCLUSIONIt wasn’t a perfect outing by any stretch, but Wentz showed real signs of picking up right where he left off from his near-MVP form in 2017. From a physical standpoint, he looked as good as you could’ve possibly hoped for, and maybe even better. Wentz clearly has some work to do when it comes to cleaning up mental mistakes. But based on the positive signs from Sunday, there should be complete confidence that he’ll be able to shake off that rust at some point. Moving forward www.eaglesauthorizedshops.com , Wentz will benefit from the Eagles getting healthier. Against the Colts, he had to deal with Philadelphia missing their top two running backs and three of their top four wide receivers. Alshon Jeffery’s return is on the horizon so that’ll be a nice boost. Jay Ajayi and Darren Sproles are expected back at practice this week as well. Not having to consistently play in wet conditions should also help. Wentz’s second worst game of the 2017 season in terms of passer rating came when the Eagles played a rainy home game against the 49ers last year. Wentz memorably struggled to throw a wet ball back at a workout with the Browns leading up to the 2016 NFL Draft, so maybe the rain is a real issue for him.Again, there’s plenty of reason to be optimistic about Wentz coming out of the Eagles’ win. And that means there’s plenty of reason to be optimistic about the rest of this season after getting off to a 2-1 start. The problem with forecasting the Philadelphia Eagles isn’t that we don’t know what they’re capable of. The reigning Super Bowl champions aren’t some terrible team that’s prone to getting blown out. At the very least, they’ve been in all of their games this year. They were even the ones blowing out the Giants in Week 6.And had the Eagles merely held on to a 17-0 lead last week, a lot of people would be feeling really confident in this team moving forward. But that’s not the reality of the situation. The Eagles did drop a game they had no business losing. The problem with making predictions with this team, then, is not about what they’re capable of ... but when they’re capable of it. For their sake Philadelphia Eagles Womens T-Shirt , the Eagles better find themselves capable against a Jaguars team that’s really struggling recently. In their last three matchups, Jacksonville has allowed 30 points per game and has only scored just over nine points per game. That’s very bad. #Analysis. The much-maligned Blake Bortles has obviously contributed to the Jags’ issues. Jacksonville finally decided to bench him last week ... only to announce he’d be their starter for this London game. It’s actually not the craziest move given that he’s thrown eight touchdowns to one interception in his last three games overseas. In an Eagles season that’s been frustrating, it would be very fitting for Bortles to ineplxicably torch Philadelphia’s defense. We already saw Marcus Mariota do this to Jim Schwartz’s unit earlier this year. The fact that Malcolm Jenkins gave Bortles some extra motivation doesn’t help to feel less uneasy. It’s very difficult to have confidence in this Eagles team right now after seeing them lose the way they did against the Panthers. But you know what? I’m going to say the Eagles bounce back. This is a team that’s struggled to create turnovers this season. Some of that stuff is just luck. And maybe the Eagles are due for some picks and/or fumble recoveries while playing a Jaguars team that ranks second in the league in total giveaways.Another reason why I have some level of faith in the Eagles is because Nelson Agholor might be able to finally get going. Jacksonville is down to their third string option at nickel cornerback: rookie safety Ronnie Harrison. The Jaguars are without three of their top four corners in general. A struggling Eagles offense needs to take advantage.Ultimately, my optimism is tempered, as you can see in my final score prediction. I don’t think the Eagles turn in a pretty performance. I’m expecting another ugly game and it’ll hardly be shocking if Philadelphia manages to lose once again. But one of the biggest deciding factors in this prediction is that the Eagles have Carson Wentz and he’s much better than Bortles. I just can’t take Bortles over Wentz.Suggested format:Score prediction:Bold prediction:My predictions:Score prediction: 20-19, Eagles win.Bold prediction: Jalen Mills logs a pick six. Fan predictions:Bleeding Green Nation FanPulse (survey of Eagles fans): Eagles favored by 4 pointsBig Cat Country FanPulse (survey of Jaguars fans): Eagles favored by 8 pointsLeave your own predictions in the comments.
  3. While the defense certainly had some miscues during New England's 27-20 victory over Houston on Sunday Youth Kareem Jackson Jersey , it may not be the unit looking to make the most improvement heading into Week 2.That task probably belongs to special teams, which had several mistakes that allowed the Texans to stay within striking distance for most of the game.Special teams has been one of the Patriots' most stable area the past few seasons. But against Houston the unit showed cracks in both kickoff coverage and punt return. Improvement will be key with a tough road matchup at Jacksonville up next.Last season, the Patriots allowed opponents just 18.9 yards per kickoff return, the third-best mark in the NFL.That meant nothing to Houston's Tyler Ervin, who found all kinds of seams in New England's kickoff coverage. He finished the game with 156 kickoff return yards on five returns (31.2 avg.), including a game-long 36-yard return. The 156 return yards are the most ever by a Texans player in a season opener."I thought there were a lot of areas that we did well in, a lot of areas that we need to work on and a lot of areas that we can improve," coach Bill Belichick said when asked about the mishaps on kickoffs.Special teams captain Matt Slater said he didn't think the new kickoff rules aimed at improving safety were to blame for their deficiencies."I think it was more about what we didn't do," he said. "Some of the things that we're coached to do we just didn't go out there and do them. ... It plays differently, obviously there's no wedges. Schemes have changed a little bit. But hopefully it's something we can fix."New England's punt team wasn't exempt from mistakes, either. With under five minutes left in the game, Riley McCarron fumbled a punt to set up Deshaun Watson's 5-yard touchdown pass to Bruce Ellington that got the Texans within seven."I made a stupid play," McCarron said. "I should have handled the ball; it is as simple as that. I did not make the decision on a fair catch http://www.texansauthorizedshops.com/authentic-benardrick-mckinney-jersey , obviously, but I know the one I should have made now."McCarron was released by the team on Monday. It wasn't all bad for the special teams. Before he suffered a right knee injury in the third quarter, running back Jeremy Hill partially blocked a punt by Houston's Trevor Daniel. And some late execution by the Patriots' punt coverage team helped put a slight happy face on an otherwise lackluster day.The play came via punter Ryan Allen, who dropped a 54-yard punt inside the Houston 5, which was downed by Jonathan Jones on the 1 with 43 seconds remaining. It forced the Texans to speed up on offense and they moved the ball to only their 43 by game's end.Slater said both Hill's block and Allen's punt were shown a lot in Monday's film session. Still, there was little celebrating."The hits keep coming," Slater said. "This will be a tough team this week and we gotta be on top of our game and certainly try to execute better."NOTES: The team placed running back Jeremy Hill on injured reserve. Hill's 2017 season with Cincinnati ended after seven games, when he had right ankle surgery. ... Hill entered the season third on the running back depth chart behind James White and Rex Burkhead and was expected to contribute primarily on special teams. ... The team also released wide receiver Chad Hansen. Even after everything J.J. Watt has accomplished in football, he still relished the chance to walk on — and off — the field for his first game action since breaking his leg.Todd Gurley, Jared Goff and the rest of the Los Angeles Rams' offense won't get any action at all in this preseason, but they insist they'll still be ready for the games that count.Rookie John Kelly rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns, and the Rams briefly debuted their new defensive stars in a 21-20 preseason victory over Watt and the Houston Texans on Saturday.Watt started and made a tackle roughly 10 1/2 months after he got hurt in the Texans' fifth game last season. The chance to catch up with former defensive coordinator Wade Phillips was just a bonus on an exciting day for the veteran superstar."I liked that I came off (the field) under my own power," Watt said with a grin. "It's football. It's where I feel the most natural. It's where I feel at home."Houston's first-team defense looked sharp DeAndre Hopkins Jersey , but the Rams' backup offensive players put together enough points to win it. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney were long finished by the time Nick Rose missed a 57-yard field goal at the gun in the Texans' first loss of the preseason."I mean, they didn't have Todd Gurley out there, or Jared Goff," Watt said. "But we flew around. We had fun. We did what we're supposed to do. We had three series and held them to 2 yards, and we got a pick. We'll take that. That's what we expect to do with their offensive all-stars sitting out."The Texans were thrilled to see Watt looking healthy and happy."He's really worked hard to get back to where he's at right now," Houston coach Bill O'Brien said. "I think he's playing at a real high level, from what we've seen every single day. From what I could see today, the first-team defense went out there and did a nice job."Watt is a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, but he didn't get to see the current holder of the award. Aaron Donald is still deep in his second consecutive contract holdout from the Rams.Los Angeles' first-team defense also excelled despite Donald's continued absence. Ndamukong Suh and cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib all got their first action with the Rams early in the first quarter, and Suh managed to hit Deshaun Watson as the quarterback uncorked a long throw that was intercepted by Lamarcus Joyner on the Texans' second series. But the Rams rested 10 of their presumptive offensive starters for the third straight week, keeping the wraps on the team that led the NFL in scoring last season. The decision all but ensures Gurley and Goff will go into the regular season without taking a snap in a preseason game."When you balance the risk/reward, we felt like as a coaching staff this was going to be the best thing for us," Rams coach Sean McVay said. "You do have 10 of 11 starters returning (from last season). You don't take anything for granted ... (but) this is what we felt like is best for our football team. Might not be for everybody. Might be disagreements Authentic Kevin Johnson Jersey , but this is what we talked about as a coaching staff, and this is the decision we made."Alfred Blue rushed for an early score for Houston, and Braxton Miller caught a TD pass from Brandon Weeden, who went 10 of 17 for 108 yards with an interception after Watson's brief action. Quan Bray caught a 3-yard touchdown pass from Joe Webb with 5:54 to play for the Texans, but Ejuan Price sacked Webb on the ensuing 2-point conversion attempt.Rose's last-second kick was his second missed field goal as the Texans wait for Ka'imi Fairbairn to get healthy.MANNION'S TURNPharoh Cooper caught a TD pass from Sean Mannion, who bounced back from an 0-for-5 start with a bad interception to Kareem Jackson. Mannion finished the first half with 10 consecutive completions, but he has been inconsistent in the preseason, raising some concern about the Rams' backup situation behind Goff.ROOKIE RUNNERKelly, the Rams' sixth-round pick from Tennessee, continued his breakout preseason in Gurley's absence with another impressive game. He finished Los Angeles' 19-play drive that consumed 12:06 of the third quarter with a spinning 15-yard TD run.SAM'S STEPSSam Shields made an interception in the veteran cornerback's next huge step in his comeback from multiple concussions. Shields missed most of the past two seasons and was dropped by the Green Bay Packers during his laborious return from at least four recorded concussions. He picked off Weeden's pass late in the first quarter and returned it 13 yards before celebrating on the sideline with teammates who understood the importance of the moment.ANTHEM UPDATEThere were no apparent protests during the national anthem.INJURIESTexans: WR Will Fuller sat out with a minor hamstring injury. ... 4. Bruce Irvin has wanted to play for the Atlanta Falcons since he was a kid.Now that the seventh-year pass rusher is back home and about to make his Falcons debut http://www.steelerscheapauthenticstore.com/chris-boswell-jersey-cheap , Irvin said he won't take this opportunity for granted. It's a rebirth for a 31-year-old who acknowledges he made bad decisions as an Atlanta teenager and now gets a chance to rewrite his local legacy."Yesterday it hit me a little bit," Irvin said Thursday. "I know that I look scared but I really was crying yesterday, this is a childhood dream for me. "Irvin was cut last Saturday by Oakland, part of a housecleaning with the rebuilding Raiders. He cleared waivers and was a free agent with offers from several teams. He never doubted where he wanted to land."My agent said, 'You know everybody thinks you're going to Atlanta,' and I said under my breath, 'Well, they're right,'" Irvin said. "So it was no comparison http://www.steelerscheapauthenticstore.com/vince-williams-jersey-cheap , man. My family is here. My wife is from here. It was a childhood dream."Irvin said life passed him by growing up in nearby Stone Mountain. He watched friends from Stephenson High School 鈥?Perry Riley, Kelvin Sheppard and Jermaine Cunningham 鈥?focus on their football careers while he was getting having run-ins with law enforcement and constantly putting himself in danger."I was out in the streets doing stuff, and those guys were getting four-year scholarships to Florida and LSU and it hurt me," Irvin said. "It hurt me seeing those guys go off, and I was just around here doing God knows what. It was a motivating factor. Look at me now. I outlasted Perry and Jermaine (in the NFL). Sheppard just got on so, but it was a motivating factor. I'm glad that I figured it out and got my head on straight."Irvin returned recently to Stephenson to meet with current students and offer some advice."Like I said, I never played at Stephenson," he said. "I didn't play football since the ninth grade and I didn't play for six years. Going back there and letting those young guys know that anything is possible. You can be in the worst situation and if you surround yourself by the right people and not around a bunch of yes-men, you can make it around anything. So that was the biggest thing."Now Irvin gets to show what he can do on the field. Before his first practice with the Falcons on Thursday, Irvin wanted to show his new teammates he can still be a force in disrupting the quarterback.Irvin will wear jersey No. 52 when the Falcons (4-4) take a three-game winning streak to (2-6-1). He intends to help Atlanta improve a pass rush that ranks 27th in sacks."I think I bring a lot of swagger, a lot of attitude Youth Joe Haden Jersey ," Irvin said. "I speak my mind. I talk a lot of mess. Just running around having fun, man. That's the biggest thing in this league. If you're not having fun, it doesn't take you a long way. Me just bringing energy and knowledge to these guys. Just being the best Bruce Irvin I can be every day."The 6-foot-3, 250-pound Irvin was a first-round draft pick for Seattle out of West Virginia in 2012. He played four seasons with the Seahawks and two-plus with the Raiders, and had 40 sacks. His 15 forced fumbles over that span lead the NFL."Me and DQ can't dwell on what we did in Seattle, going to the Super Bowl and things like that," Irvin said. "It's more about right now and I feel like they needed me. I wanted to be here. I did what I had to do. We made it happen." Fans in the upper deck at Paul Brown Stadium hung a banner that read: "Make Them Respect Us." Instead, the Steelers broke their hearts in the last minute all over again. The Bengals let yet another one slip away against their AFC North rival, and this one hurt in many familiar ways. Antonio Brown's 31-yard catch-and-run for a touchdown with 10 seconds left sent Pittsburgh to a 28-21 victory Sunday. It's seven and a row and counting in a one-sided rivalry that always seems to turn out the Steelers' way."I can't really explain it," said receiver Tyler Boyd, who had two touchdown catches .Whenever they come to Cincinnati Cheap Terrell Edmunds Jersey , the Steelers (3-2-1) have confidence they can pull another one out no matter how far down, no matter how little time is left. They've done it repeatedly during that seven-game winning streak. When Joe Mixon scored on a four-yard touchdown run with 1:18 to go, the Bengals (4-2) celebrated as though they'd finally gotten that breakthrough win. They should have known better."We left enough time on there for them to go down and score," receiver Alex Erickson said. The Steelers knocked the Bengals out of the playoffs in 2015 with the help of Vontaze Burfict's hit to Brown's head, which set up Chris Boswell's field goal for an 18-16 victory with 14 seconds left. During the seven-game streak, the Steelers have rallied from deficits of 17-0 and 17-3 to win at Paul Brown Stadium. Last December, Boswell's 38-yard field goal on the final play gave Pittsburgh a 23-20 win.Brown's touchdown was the latest entry to the litany of letdowns."Imagine how we feel," cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick said. "I imagine how the fans feel."They stood stunned as thousands of Steelers fans among them twirled their yellow towels in celebration. When Andy Dalton's pass fell incomplete to end it, a scuffle broke out among players on the field as fans headed for the exits. The numbers are staggering. The Bengals are 8-25 against the Steelers during coach Marvin Lewis' 16 seasons, including 2-16 at Paul Brown Stadium, including two playoff losses. Overall http://www.steelerscheapauthenticstore.com/stephon-tuitt-jersey-cheap , Cincinnati has lost 10 of 11 and 15 of 18 in the series. The Bengals' defense was depleted by injuries on the final drive, but the decision to go for an all-out blitz and leave no safeties to protect the end zone wound up costing them. Ben Roethlisberger saw the defense line up and knew it could be a touchdown if he got the ball to Brown quickly. Brown ran untouched to the end zone, cutting behind Justin Hunter's block."We are not going to second-guess anything," Lewis said. "They made the play and we didn't."The game also added another layer of hard feelings. Burfict traded words with Roethlisberger 3 minutes into the game, and a teammate had to push Burfict away from James Conner to prevent a penalty after the Steelers running back scored a touchdown.Burfict hit Brown in the head as he was being tackled after a reception in the third quarter. The play wasn't flagged, but Brown got up woozy and had to miss a couple of plays before returning. The NFL is expected to review the play."A nasty hit," Brown said. After the game, Burfict yelled at a reporter who asked a Bengals player about the hit. Lewis declined to comment on it."I don't know what play you are talking about," he said. "There were a lot of plays out there." Custom Atlanta Falcons Jerseys
  5. Murphy’s Law states that “whatever can go wrong Youth Kenny Vaccaro Jersey , will go wrong.” That is exactly what happened yesterday in the Titans/Dolphins marathon. The Titans had way more bad things happen than good things. They saw their LT, Taylor Lewan, knocked out on an illegal hit (which no flag was given, besides a taunting flag that was offset), starting QB, Marcus Mariota, hurt his elbow on an illegal hit (again, no flag), and Delanie Walker was lost for the season on a play with 30ish seconds left in the game. This was after Jerome Boger and his incompetence henchmen decided to bring back a LONG TD from Derrick Henry on a phantom holding call. Moral of the story is to NEVER travel to Miami. Don’t play em http://www.titansauthorizedshops.com/authentic-dennis-kelly-jersey , just forfeit, it is much easier for everyone. It was very sad to see the game unfold the way it did after 2 extremely good drives by the offense to start the game before the delays began. Hopefully Marcus and Lewan will be back next week for Houston, as well as Rashaan Evans, Harold Landry, and Jack Conklin. We will need to be full strength to have a shot to turn this year around.Titans sign tackle Laurence Gibson, activate tight end Phillip Supernaw The Tennessee Titans made a couple of roster moves on Friday, but maybe not the ones you would expect. The team officially placed safety Johnathan Cyprien on IR following his diagnosis of a torn ACL, as head coach Mike Vrabel announced on Thursday. The Titans will meet with four free agent safeties, looking to replace Cyprien’s starting role. Those meeting started today Jayon Brown Jersey , but no signing has been reported yet. The team did make a few moves today, however.Tackle Laurence Gibson was signed and tight end Phillip Supernaw was activated after passing his physical.Additionally, injured defensive lineman Connor Flagel was waived.Gibson has yet to play in an NFL regular season game, but has spent time with several teams in the league. He fills the gap that John Theus vacated, following his retirement. The 6-6, 300 pound tackle was drafted by the Cowboys in 2015, following 19 starts at Virginia Tech.
  6. The Washington Redskins' starting left tackle was hit in the chest and felt lightheaded Youth Stefen Wisniewski Jersey , so the concern was a possible liver injury. Williams checked out just fine and was back at practice Monday."It didn't hurt that much," Williams said. "They wanted to be safe than sorry."That's a prudent approach for a team that's down to its backup quarterback, missing two starting offensive linemen and its top receiver for the rest of the season and could be without a handful of other key players for a big game next Monday night at the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. Playing with a skeleton crew of starters has become the new normal for the Redskins."I looked at the group that we had out there when everybody was healthy and I was just like, 'Man, they won't be able to stop this crew,'" third-down back Chris Thompson said. "There were a lot of plans that we had for this team going into the 16-game stretch, but we just had to make a few changes because injuries happen."A lot of injuries have happened.Quarterback Alex Smith, receiver Paul Richardson and starting guards Brandon Scherff and Shawn Lauvao are out for the season. Thompson hopes to play after missing so many games he can't count with broken ribs nd it would be a major boost if receiver Jamison Crowder can return after missing almost two months with an injured right ankle. The Redskins have lost three of four since starting 5-2 and yet are still tied with Dallas at 6-5 atop the NFC East. Beating Philadelphia on the road Monday night in Colt McCoy 's second start at quarterback would go a long way toward winning the mediocre division, especially if the Cowboys lose at New Orleans on Thursday.Thompson has felt noticeable improvement from a fractured rib on each side of his rib cage and is optimistic he'll be strong enough to play within a week. The situation is a bit murkier for Crowder and cornerback Quinton Dunbar http://www.eaglesauthorizedshops.com/authentic-jason-peters-jersey , who were among a host of players who didn't take part in a bonus day of practice Monday that followed a long weekend off.Because of the extra time before facing the Eagles, coach Jay Gruden and his staff can take a cautious approach with "sore" tight end Jordan Reed; right tackle Morgan Moses, who's dealing with ankle irritation; and defensive lineman Matt Ioannidis, who was held out with a calf injury. Like last season, when injuries derailed the Redskins' playoff hopes long before the stretch run, it has been that kind of year with players going down left and right."It's always a change when you don't have your starters," Williams said. "Those are the guys that primarily you work with throughout the whole offseason and (organized team activities) to get on the same page. But that's why you stress that every guy has to be ready."Thompson is more than ready. The broken ribs have bothered Thompson when trying to sleep or when laughing or coughing, but the pain of watching his teammates lose without him has him eager to get back on the field."I just want to be back out there and be able to help my guys out," Thompson said. "I really believe that I can go in and make an impact." Eagles coach Doug Pederson has confirmed that defensive end Derek Barnett will miss the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. Pederson also explained how the reps will be distributed in Sweat’s absence.“Josh Sweat gets more reps and things like that and becomes in the mix,” Pederson said. “It’s a great opportunity for the guys that are healthy.”Pederson was asked to provide an assessment of Sweat’s potential in-game performances based on what he has done in practice.“He’s working the service team Carson Wentz Jersey , working his reps there, and he’s getting time with the D-line,” Pederson said. “[He] does a great job. I think he’s explosive off the ball; he’s long, has been around the passer, can be disruptive. This will be a great opportunity for him.”Sweat, a fourth-round pick in 2018, is only 21 years old. He has made appearances in three of seven regular-season games.

Comrades!Once again cousin UprootedTexan has bestowed great honor upon me to distribute factual information to adoring fans of Houston Texans! Before discussion of hotly anticipated contest between Houston Texans and team identifying as Dallas Cowboys begins Youth Kareem Jackson Jersey , let us relive glorious and definitive destruction of baby horse team of Indianapolis!First we must acknowledge physical attractiveness of baby horsemen quarterback Andrew Luck.I have great disagreement with cousin UT on this topic.Cousin UT slandered Luck as a “Humanzee” in previous information dispatch.Great disagreement in family is ongoing.Luck had best performance of young season in response to allegation he is product of Human and Chimpanzee parents. With great respect to UT, I vehemently denounce his opinions.Luck’s face is both pleasing to eye and effective against mammalian invaders!Voice so soothing it belong on loudspeaker at Siberian work camp!Baby horse coach Frank (last name redacted out of respect to fallen at Stalingrad) attempted to match wits with Comrade O’Brien. This did not go well.Despite Comrade O’Brien’s deployment of controversial new “fatalism” strategy, coach Frank unable to convert on late fourth down situation, creating opportunity for Comrade Watson to put Texans in position to snatch victory from the jaws of tie.O’Brien then put faith of entire nation of adoring Texans supporters in kicker with patently offensive first name.First kick was missed due to ongoing fatalism strategy, however coach Frank of baby horses gave additional opportunity to Texans with ill-fated time out.GLORY TO ALL FIELD GOAL OFFENSE we screamed as second kick sailed through uprights for decisive win.Additional ration of beets to Comrades Coutee, Watt, Clowney, and Watson for exemplary performance! After such decisive and brutal victory, Comrade Marshal O’Brien and victorious Texans turn ire toward farcical collection of rejects from Oklahoma southern territories identified as “Dallas Cowboys”.Oklahoman invaders have long history of horrible behavior befitting residents of such hopeless wasteland as “Dallas”.Life in such dystopian hellscape would drive many man to abuse of crack cocaine, or start new business trafficking drugs, or many other activities you or I would almost certainly partake in if forced to live in Dallas.Dallas also home to infamous criminal organizations such as Texas Rangers, Dallas Mavericks, and murderous disruptors of peace, Dixie Chicks. But peace and football-loving fans of Houston Texans live all around globe as well as beautiful, prosperous, culturally-diverse Houston. However, friends, Houston’s great superiority to Dallas in every imaginable way is not topic for today as this is verifiable (and rule of law).Topic of concern is contest televised to all the world on Sunday Night Football pitting Houston Texans against Oklahoman Invaders of “Dallas”.On field, no question talent of Houston Texans outshines that of Cowboys.Comrade Marshal O’Brien need only point to overwhelming skills of J.J. Teaching and study of opponents happening as we speak to contain singular threat to Houston Texans in upcoming contest—Ezekiel Elliott.Despite family lineage being traced back to Endor, Elliott must not be overlooked.Ewoks known for escapability, determination, shiftiness, and ability to win under dire circumstances.Ewoks also known to destroy franchise, but Cowboys Supreme Leader Jerry Jones loves nothing more than chaos and destruction.BRING ME THE CHILDREN.As Texans must only concern themselves with wily and elusive running back, rest of defensive gameplan should be simple for Genius Coordinator Romeo Crennel.Stop potentially dangerous ground attack from opponent and force young quarterback to throw to collection of displaced Canadian Football League receivers.Release Comrades Watt, Clowney, and Friends to Badgers Tyrann Mathieu.Quick work will be made of Cowboy “offense” and large Ewok person. On other side of ball, now that ruse of Terrible Pre-Deshaun Watson Offense has served purpose, Texans should make feast of fifth-ranked Dallas defense.Dallas defense so laughably pathetic it cannot even break top four in NFL!Disgusting!Texans’ offense, despite stratagem of Terrible Pre-Deshaun Watson Offense in first three weeks, is ranked fifth offense in NFL.Glory to Houston Texans Offense!Expect Sunday night crowd in Houston to be in celebratory mood as preparation for contest will begin long before commencement of match! Many, many hours of preparation for contest. So many hours of... fuel...will be consumed to power nationally-televised destruction of Oklahoma invaders on Sunday Night Football!Rejoice!Soon entire nation will know of our dominance!THANK YOU AGAIN TO COUSIN FOR ALLOWING ENJOYABLE GUEST ENTRY. 8. The Pittsburgh Steelers begin their season against the Cleveland Browns for the second consecutive year on Sunday Youth Stephon Tuitt Jersey , with every expectation of claiming another Opening Day victory over their Turnpike rivals. Despite the issues with their star running back, the Steelers are still clear favorites to post their seventh straight win over Cleveland. After going through some extensive changes to team personnel this offseason, the Browns are are confident they will be better than the team that went 0-16 in 2017. But an opening line of -6.5 points seems to suggest the bookmakers disagree in Week 1. As attractive as less than a touchdown might have been early in the week, a spread of 4 points as of Wednesday is sure to see plenty of action from Steeler fans closer to game day. From an opening totals position of 47 points, it would appear the presumed absence of Le’Veon Bell has caused the line to drop by a few points and most sports books are currently offering an Over/Under of 44 points — perhaps somewhat high for the first game of the year between two divisional rivals. The under still looks to be the play despite the falling line.A money line of -210 to +175 seems to be a solid value for a Pittsburgh team that has such a dominant record against the Browns in recent years.According to Oddsshark, com, The total has gone under in eight of the Steelers last 11 games against Cleveland, with all of their last fives games on the road at FirstEnergy Stadium going under too. Pittsburgh is 5-4-1 against the spread in their last 10 matchups with the Browns and 3-7 versus the over.Antonio Brown needs to prove he’s not just another selfish wide receiver If there was one MVP for the Steelers’ defense after its embarrassing performance in a42-37 loss to the Chiefs at Heinz Field on Sunday, it was receiver Antonio Brown. Why? Because, instead of talking about the shellacking Keith Butler’s unit received at the hands of Chiefs’ quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Friends, the main focus on Monday was on Brown and his in-game and post-game antics....again. As always with Brown, these antics had to do with his apparent dissatisfaction with not getting the football thrown his way nearly enough. At one point in the game, Brown was seen arguing with someone on the Steelers’ sideline—presumably new offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner. Given the score and the way Fichtner’s crew was functioning—Pittsburgh’s offense produced 475 yards and fivetouchdowns on the day—Brown may have picked the wrong coordinator to have a verbal confrontation with. But Brown didn’t pick the wrong coordinator, and that’s the problem. After the game Youth Ramon Foster Jersey , journalists were quick to point out how fast Brown was when exitingthe locker room to avoid their questions; this was probably why those same reporters had no problem commenting on Brown’s body language throughout the course of the game—as his teammates greeted and celebrated with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger following his three-yard touchdown run to pull Pittsburgh to within five points late in the fourth quarter, Brown reportedly sulked to the sideline and wasn’t very supportive. And what piece of Steelers’ drama would be complete without a touch of social media turmoil thrown in for good measure? On Monday, a former Steelers employee, Ryan Scarpino, tweeted: “AB needs to thank his lucky stars, because he was drafted by a team that had Big Ben. And Ben got AB paid. You know darn well he wouldn’t put up those numbers for other teams.” Brown’s response: “Trade me let’s find out.” Yikes. Most people in the know are pretty adamant when they talk of Brown’s selfish nature, and that he puts his own statistics above the team’s success. And as much as I’ve defended Brown in the past for things like arriving to training camp in a helicopter, it’s hard to come up with a defense when people accuse him of being selfish. The incident in Week 4 of 2017, when Brown threw a Gatorade bucket on the sidelines out of frustration, drew the headlines afterwards — people are still talking about that flare-up in a game against the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium, almost a year later. However, I don’t pay much attention to sideline outbursts in the middle of football games—including the latest one involving Brown this past Sunday. What drew my attention came hours after the Ravens game, when Brown took to social media to post a video of him and his young child. During the video, Brown says Womens Antonio Brown Jersey , “Tell them to throw Daddy the football.” In the heat of the moment during a football game is one thing — Roethlisberger didn’t see a wide-open Brown on a play where No. 84 would have scored easily. But to hold onto that resentment hours after the game is over — and a 17-point win, to boot — is the act of a selfish football player...just another diva receiver.Look, I get the mentality of a receiver. People criticize and mock the great ones for wanting the football all the time and caring too much about their own stats, but those same people will use a receiver’s career stats against him when determining things like his Hall of Fame status. I’ll bet it’s quite frustrating battling trash-talking cornerbacks for sixty minutes. You work your tail off, you think you’re getting open, and then you look over and see another guy receiving the focus and the stats. Brown has said on more than one occasion that winning a championship is the most important thing to him. If that’s true, then he, more than anyone, should realize how valuable he is simply by drawing so much focus from opposing defenses. Brown is on an unprecedented run of excellence that has him on par with Jerry Rice at a similar stage of his Hall of Fame career. In 2017, Brown not only surpassed 100 receptions for the fifth-straight season, he led the NFL in receiving yards despite missing the final 10 quarters with a calf injury. Coming into 2018, Brown had to know he would continue to draw double- and triple-teams, something that was illustrated quite clearly during Roethlisberger’s first of three interceptions in the 21-21 tie with the Browns in Week 1.On Sunday, second-year receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster caught 13 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown Womens JuJu Smith-Schuster Jersey , marking the third-straight regular season game in which he surpassed 100 yards receiving. Meanwhile, tight end Jesse James caught five passes for an astounding 138 yards and a score. Both receivers were often wide-open, illustrating the high price opposing defenses may soon have to pay for continuing to focus so much attention on Brown. This can only help the passing game and the offense as a whole. The last thing Brown should want is for his quarterback to feel pressured into getting him his targets, while ignoring the more wide-open targets that have proven to be trustworthy and productive. Yet, through his continued actions, you get the feeling Brown would rather his quarterback feel compelled to get him his targets, even if it puts the offense at risk. The crazy thing is, Brown has been targeted 33 times through two games, and his 18 catches put him on pace for a career-best 144. Finally, when his career is over and the dust settles, Antonio Brown will be remembered with fondness. But if he doesn’t start proving to the football world that winning a championship really is his top priority, he’ll be remembered more for his Terrell Owens-like actions than his Jerry Rice-like greatness. In other words, just another diva receiver. Custom New York Jets Jerseys

"You've got to hit your big plays."Hundley also threw an interception. But It was a promising outing overall for him after the Packers struggled to move the ball through the air when Hundley was under center while Rodgers was sidelined with a broken collarbone in 2017."I think for me this year, the anticipation, it's the understanding, it's the game slowing down, so things are a lot easier," Hundley said.KIZER'S NIGHTHundley, who is competing with DeShone Kizer for the backup job, got the start and played well into the second quarter. With Rodney McLeod on injured reserve and Corey Graham ruled out with a hamstring injury, the Eagles were down to just Malcolm Jenkins, Avonte Maddox (a converted cornerback), and Deiondre’ Hall on the back end. Sullivan’s presence now gives the Eagles a fourth safety. Sullivan will also be counted on to contribute on special teams, especially with linebackers D.J. Alexander and Nathan Gerry being ruled out. It's seems like we got down there fine, and Tennessee bowed their neck and kept us to three, much like our defense has done for the first month of the season."The Eagles also had some dropped passes, particularly Nelson Agholor, who caught only five of the 12 balls Wentz threw at him with four drops."That's not something you want to do," Agholor said. "You take the frustration outside of it, you know, that's your job. You just get a little upset because you prepare for it, but you have to work harder and you have to bounce back."The Eagles couldn't convert on a pair of third downs late.Wentz threw the ball away on third-and-3 just before Jake Elliott kicked a 30-yard field goal with 16 seconds left in regulation. Wentz said the Titans had them covered http://www.philadelphiaeaglesteamonlines.com/jason-peters-jersey , along with some miscommunication. Ertz couldn't pull in Wentz's pass on third-and-12 at the Titans 19 in overtime before the Eagles settled for Elliott's third and final field goal.Ertz said the Eagles cannot simply rely on what worked last season."We can't say that we're just going to flip a switch, and we're just going to start going on a roll and win nine in a row," Ertz said. "We're playing really good football teams, and we've just got to find a way to win. The thing that sticks out about this team is typically we find a way to win. Today we just dropped the ball. They beat us and my hat's off to them."Follow Teresa M. Walker at teresamwalker
  11. The Texans lost against the Giants last Sunday to remain one of three teams without a victory in the 2018 season http://www.houstontexansteamonline.com/tyrann-mathieu-jersey , but there was at least one positive sign to take away from the game. On Wednesday, Watt said he felt it was a sign that things are coming back but that he does not yet feel he’s recovered his old form.“I think it’s coming back little by little,” Watt said, via the Houston Chronicle. “I think last game it started to show up on the stat line more maybe than it did the first couple games, but I think it’s still a work in progress.聽I still have a lot to improve on and get better at. I’m by no means where I want to be yet, but we’re getting there.”The hope in Houston was that the return of players like Watt, Deshaun Watson and Whitney Mercilus would allow the team to break from the gate at full speed. That has not happened Womens Kevin Johnson Jersey , which is reflected by a record that needs to get better quickly if their continued progress from those players is going to have any meaningful impact this season.2018 Houston Texans Game Day Live: Texans vs. Colts (First Quarter) Welcome to Week 4 of Houston Texans football. Three weeks of perturbation and despair have sped past us, leaving us only with vague questions of ‘‘Who’s the best player in the 2019 NFL Draft?’’ and ‘‘Is Jadeveon Clowney REALLY going to be worth all that money?’’. I would be remiss to not remind you that this game marks the end of the first quarter of the Texans’ regular season slate. While they may be statistically unlikely to make the playoffs, there is always the faintest glimmer of hope that Deshaun Watson and J.J. Watt carry this team to something more than their current form would suggest. It’s time for your first quarter thread. The opponent is the Colts, who have a QB who almost certainly does NOT have a partially functioning throwing shoulder and the second worst bald spot of any of the AFC South starting QBs. 12. When Mike Hilton broke out last season during the preseason http://www.steelerscheapauthenticstore.com/jordan-berry-jersey-cheap , it was a shock to all of us. A guy who had been on two previous practice squads — cut each time — shows up and becomes the starting slot-CB for the season. After that, he was one of the few bright spots on that post-Shazier defense, and that dynamic ability has only continued into this year. Hilton is an expert blitzer from the slot, and Keith Butler utilizes the 5’9” stick of dynamite on virtually every blitz he can dial up. He’s also extra aggressive from the slot in coverage. At his core, he’s an aggressive man-coverage corner who can literally match up with anyone. He even forced a pass breakup against Rob Gronkowski last season when the Steelers faced the Patriots. This guy is a top-3 slot-CB in the NFL, and he impacts every aspect of the game. He’s a pain for any Offensive Coordinator to game-plan for. In simple terms, Keith Butler uses him almost as a small LB. He’s undoubtedly a missile, and although he’s known for how effectively he blitzes, his coverage is fantastic too.Okay, empty set, Steelers are in Cover-2 man. Only Sean Davis and Terrell Edmunds are deep on this play with palms coverage Cheap T. J. Watt Jersey , and everyone else is in either in press-man (L.J. Fort, Joe Haden, Morgan Burnett) or off-man coverage (Mike Hilton, Coty Sensabaugh). With the slot guys and Haden pressing the outside receiver, Jarvis Landry is the prime target for Baker Mayfield here, so this all relies on Mike Hilton, and boy does he ever come through. It may be hard to see up near the top of the screen, but look at how easily he mirrors the zig. His hips are in constant motion with Landry’s route and then the easy, fluid change of direction to come straight down on that play is top-CB stuff. He knows the situation and just comes up and makes a great hit. Even if Landry hangs on, you can see Hilton’s aggressiveness as he rushes downhill after the fast change of direction. The most underrated part of Hilton’s game is the swagger he brings. He chirps after that play and, to me, that’s the sign of a leader. He gets in Landry’s head http://www.steelerscheapauthenticstore.com/chris-boswell-jersey-cheap , you know he does, and Landry is a guy who likes to do the same back, just ask Artie Burns. I want my DBs to be aggressive and have swagger. I consider it an essential trait, and man does Hilton ever deliver! The Browns come out in a Todd Haley special, where they have the bunch set on one side and motion it out with a RB (formerly Le’Veon Bell) and make it trips instead, with Duke Johnson here running a slant. Although Anthony Chickillo makes a fantastic play on this ball, I want to focus on Hilton, who is covering Johnson on this play. Notice once Johnson motions, Hilton immediately steps back one step, expecting Chickillo to come over so he can focus on mirroring. He mirrors that slant and Johnson gets inside leverage, but the change of direction by Hilton likely would have stopped Johnson short of the sticks regardless. The quickness in his hips makes Hilton that much better of a slot-corner. His ability to fluidly change positions and stay with the receiver allows him to react according to the situation. But blitzes are where Hilton really shines, whether it is on a run or a pass. Just ask Nick Chubb about that. Perfect play call by Keith Butler here. It’s an inside zone and well http://www.steelerscheapauthenticstore.com/vince-williams-jersey-cheap , hello Mike Hilton. Tretter and Bitonio clearly double Javon Hargrave up the middle, and even though that’s the call, Bitonio has to call an audible and chip Hilton upfield so Chubb can cut back inside. Regardless, part of the reason Hilton is such a great blitzer is because of his timing. Right when this ball is snapped Hilton is firing down and gets into the backfield. Like I said, he’s used like a smaller LB in this scheme and it’s gorgeous to watch. Just a fantastic play call and great timing by Hilton. Mike Hilton is fantastic in every facet as a slot-CB. He has blazing speed coupled with amazing reaction time and great coverage skills. That’s something you just don’t see all that often in an undrafted cornerback, much less a guy who was cut twice, including by the Patriots’ evil genius, Bill Belichick.Hilton will be due money at contract time and he’ll get it from the team residing in the 412 area code. There are many reasons why the Steelers need to lock up Hilton for years to come, but perhaps the main reason is that he gives his all for this team on every single play. Mike Hilton is worth it.Steelers vs. Ravens, Week 4: Bold and Bizarre Predictions for Sunday Night Football The Steelers finally won their initial contest of the 2018 season last week, but the defense nearly surrendered a 20-point lead and the game. Steelers Nation is led to wonder whether the take of two halves will carry over into a crucial rivalry matchup with the Ravens. With this storyline and more, I’ve compiled a list of predictions (some basic Youth Joe Haden Jersey , and some utterly idiotic) to look for in the Week-4 contest:The NBC pregame is rife with vignettes of Mike Tomlin and Ben Roethlisberger celebrating how awesome Terrell Suggs is. In turn, footage is shown of T-Sizzle yelling uncontrollably and babbling incoherently.James Conner has his best game since Week 1 with a performance of 140 total yards from scrimmage.Meanwhile Le’Veon Bell jet skis the confluence of the Three Rivers and debuts his latest rap single, “The Real Renegade” at Stage AE.With today being exactly ten years to the day after the infamous “bounty game”, Suggs promises money to any of his teammates who blindside a server at Hines Ward’s Tavern 86.In homage to the infamous Kris Brown (not the sadistic hip-hop artist), a Merry Chris-Miss sign is seen in Heinz Field. Chris Boswell doesn’t justify the fan art with a perfect night kicking. However the mention of berries or anything Jordan (whether it be Michael, the country or almonds) gets booed at Heinz Field.James Harrison shows up outside of section 119 to the Pittsburgh Pierogie House and suggests to the manager that they “fake it” with his mock Pierogie recipe. In a rebound of last week’s open door policy, Alejandro Villanueva locks down his quarterback’s blind side allowing Ben Roethlisberger to throw for 350-plus.JuJu Smith-Schuster, on the 40th anniversary of Edgar Bergen’s death in 1978, does a TD celebration in tribute to the famed ventriloquist complete with his new friend JuJu Junior.Although I sincerely hope I’m wrong, Flacco gets the ball after the 2-minute warning and gets them close enough for Justin Tucker to hit from 54.Final score: Ravens 29 - Steelers 26....Will any of this actually happen? I’ll bet at least one or two. Heck, maybe every one of them. Be sure to post your predictions — basic or bizarre — below.
  13. Matthews confirmed to A to Z Sports that he quit on the team. You can see the text he sent them here.Rishard Matthews was absent from practice today. The reason given was personal. That’s weird Cheap Austin Johnson Jersey , but it happens from time to time with a guy or two duringa season. Things took a weird turn tonight when Matthews posted this on his Instagram:The caption, in case it doesn’t show up for you, is “When Daddy’s home for good. That is unless someone Calls him to get off the couch.”Now we don’t know anything more than this at this point. Paul Kuharsky says this post is an accurate indicator that his time in Tennessee is over. My guess here is that Rishard hasn’t been happy with his usage through the first 3 weeks of the season and things came to a head in some fashion today. The wording of his Instagram post sounds like he will be released by the Titans because that is the only way a team could call him and get him off the couch. There is little doubt in my mind that teams will call because he has been productive the last couple of years. Titans head coach Mike Vrabel offered a positive update about defensive coordinator Dean Pees’ condition after Pees was taken to the hospital in Indianapolis during Sunday’s game against the Colts.Pees remained in the hospital overnight, but there’s more good news on Monday. Pees is headed back to Nashville and Vrabel said “everything that would be really worrisome has been ruled out from the neurologists.”Now the issue is making sure Pees doesn’t try to do too much too soon. Vrabel joked the team is posting guards at the facility to make sure Pees doesn’t try to come in to work when he’s back in Tennessee on Monday.“Dean loves this team http://www.titanscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-jayon-brown-jersey , he loves his players,” Vrabel said, via the team’s website. “He wants to come in — he is not coming in today. He is going to go home and rest. I told him to work banker hours for the rest of the week — come in at 9, and make sure you are out of here at 5 olock. But I do see him coming back shortly. But I want to make sure he is getting plenty of rest Cheap Kamalei Correa Jersey , and we are not rushing anything. We do have an extra day with the Monday night game.”The Titans will play the Texans next Monday and Vrabel said it will be a group effort by the coaching staff to make sure there’s not too much on Pees’ shoulders as he gets back to work.
