Default Mixed Bag at Little Wicomico River

Wow!!!!!! Quite a mix. After a long haul from Buzz's Marina down to Smith Point in 3'+ seas in the 18' CC we finally made it into Smith Point marina to pick up Roland. We went out in search for some spot to use for bait, We managed a few of them and had them in the fishbasket. Since we were drifting we decided to head out to the Jetty. Drifting outside we immediately hooked into blues, founder and puppies. About 200 yards down the shoreline birds started diving. We headed down and got into a nice school of blues. We were throwing hopkins, stingsilvers and rapala jerk baits. We also managed a couple stripers and puppies in and around the school. After the school dissapated we headed back to the jetties and hooked back into some flounder and puppies. Then we got into Black sea bass thick, even managed one legal one. Caught a puffer and a 3 1/2 lb Croaker. Problems with the nav lights on the boat kept us from doing any night fishing, so we headed back to the camper. This morning we got up and headed out right at sunrise, blues were thick in the mouth of the river between the jetties. we fished for about 3 hours and caught tons of Striper and Blues, we also managed a couple black sea bass and flounder. We also managed a couple more puppies up to 16 1/2" Fishing was HOT HOT HOT......I'll get pictures posted later after I get my camera downloaded.
