Dam Neck 12/16
Headed to Dam Neck with the rod on top of the car (just in case), but knowing I was going for some play time with the dog (aka the real "Dixie").
Got to the beach and it was blowing SW HARD and I mean Hard, Sand blasting and all. Left the rod on the car and took the dog down for a few runs in the surf. Stayed for about 40 minutes then finally had to pull her off the surf and beach as she still wanted to play. 9 year old Lab and she still can get it at the water and sand! A few pics:

cool man- Rocky-Man is 9 and he loves the waves crashing over his too,no matter what time a year it is. Trouble is he is up to 155 pounds and aint riding in my new truck all wet !!

Water dogs are lots of fun. Looks like ya'll enjoyed the surf, even with the blasting. My German Shepherd won't go near the ocean, got broadsided by a wave when he wasn't looking.
I take him to the lake and he sinks....
