Default sandbridge pier report 19 june

Hit sandbridge pier at opening this am wind lite sw changed to e/se, water was relatively clear. Managed 1 spanish and a few scattered blues up to 2 pounds. One guy pin rigging and we also fished bottom close and out and had 2 float rigs no takers while I was there left at noon, high tide was at 1130ish. Lots of small spades caught on sabiki rigs tipped with shrimp......tight lines..............geo

Geo,

Again, glad you found us here and look forward to your reports.

Nice to hear the spanish have started to show. Were you plugging with a Gotcha? If so curious as to what color he decided to hit on.

I'm gonna try to hit Back Bay again this weekend sometime and then the pier next week during the week so the crowd is thinner.

Thanks for the report!

Some decent biters from time to time, but usually there is no pressure from anyone else and the place is all yours. Seen some nice cobia landed there as well!

Drum season is just plain
