Nice Smallmouth and Catfish fishing about 10 min away. You have two options. You should be able to fish the VA side of the potomac with your MD license. Algonquin Park (just down cascades parkway in sterling) or you can drive a little further and head out to where 15 crosses at point of rocks. There is a VDGIF Boat landing you can fish from. Both places hold lots of nice smallmouth and catfish. I'm actually off the 8th so if you have time that day let me know I may be able to meet you up there with my boat or canoe to get you on the water....

never been to Clyde's in Ashburn, however Caira used to go to Clyde's in alexandria (same chain) and used to have a blast. She loved the food and apparently it has a really good happy hour

Well I will tell you...if you didn't go to point of rocks, be glad you didn't!!!! Hit it this morning in the two man drift boat with Dad. Whoever told me there was a deep channel out there LIED!!!! The deepest water we found was maybe 7' The current was strong and for all our effort I only caught one small sunfish and dad caught the skunk, unless you want to count the 20lbs of grass he caught. There was more grass than I've ever seen before. Oh well should've gone to AI
