Second Annual Virginia Beach Sport Fishing Bluewater Classic

Dates are set and the time is drawing near!!! Gather your teams and tell your friends...its going to be another great tournament!!!

August 16th-18th will be the 2nd Annual VBSF Bluewater Classic.

After the great success of last year's tourney, we planned an even bigger event for this year. Entry fees enter you into the game fish division (Split between top Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo) and a Billfish Level is available for offshore anglers. Billfish Level is ALL RELEASE.

This year and Inshore Division was added. This will have the entry fee split between the top fish of 3 Inshore species...Flounder, Cobia and Spanish Mackerel. The 2 divisions, Inshore and Offshore, will be separate from one another. No fees from one will carry over to the other.

It is a Capt's choice of either of the 2 days of fishing. However we are allowing teams to enter both days provided they pay the additional entry fees. In doing so, the team will be treated as 2 individual teams...ex. Team Still Think'n 1 and Team Still Think'n 2. Their daily totals will not be combined.

Captain's Meeting will be at 7:00pm at the Knight's of Columbus Hall on 1236 Prosperity Rd in Virginia Beach.

Please note on the flyer the Early Registration dates and dollar amounts (August 1st-- $225 Entry Fee/$275 Billfish). If you enter early and then plan to fish a second day or enter the Billfish Level, you'll be able to at the Early Registration prices. After August 1st the fees are $275 and $325 for the Billfish Level.

All proceeds from the tourney will be donated to conservation groups including The Billfish Foundation and The Chesapeake Bay Foundation. We will have door prizes, a 50/50 raffle and a drawing for some great items including a charter aboard "Billable Ours", a signed limited edition print donated by Guy Harvey, a year's subscription to Hilton's Real-time Navigator, and a week's stay at Carolina Beach in September.
