    mmmm .... May can't come fast enough!

    Maybe we will see a nice little small run in late March this year.....

    with the number of fish still north of the bay it just might happen. of course most of those fish are way off the beach. you might be able to paddle a couple miles out and soak some bait there and might get lucky if they are off the beach. I know someone else who might.

    Paddle a couple miles out??? L O L let me just say I am glad there wasn't very many camera's around when I tried to paddle 20 feet off the beach this past summer.

    what kind of kayak were you using? I dont think you would have any problem in the one I paddle. I am 5'10" and a fat 245 lbs. and I can paddle standing up.

    It was Fishaholics Yak, I am not sure what kind it was.

    Most of the yaks I saw from the members have been the "sailboard" type. Meaning those with a broad, blunt nose for the wave to pick up and throw... hahaha!

    That is one of the reasons I just bought a Malibu from PierMan. That and those above are very slow....
    Going to give it a good workout in FL in April.

    I used Oliver's (Igormothra) last summer - once I got on and got going I was fine - it just kicked my butt a few times I until I figured out the timing between waves to get going ... Oliver - what kind is yours?
