This legislation was 2007, some carried it over to 2008, this didn't come about because of Obama.
After reading through most of the states, the Bill is dead or sitting idle with no hope of being passed.

They can attempt to pass whatever they want, but bad guys will get ammo the same way they always have, steal it!
It's a feel-good fluff law, it's not good for anything and they know it.
