Does anyone have any good close up pictures of the rear section of a custom built rod? The last 3 feet would be great. I would like to use one in the new site design.
If you do, please email them to sam@atlanticanglers.com
No reels, please.

How soon do you need it Sam.
I think I got the perfect one
this rod was built on a st.croix blank, it is one of my kayak rods. the carbon fiber handle was 100% custom made.it is not one of those pre made fiber handles. jim poured the foam into a mold, pulled it out, put it on a lathe to shape the foam, reamed out the hole to fit the rod, glued it on, put the carbon fiber over the foam, applied adhesive and let it sit for a day. extremely strong, ultra sensetive. I can feel a flounder fart 3 feet away from my bait. he also weaved my name and a kayak paddle.
Sam,
I know how you like your "tuna sticks", but this is a RS 1502 Surf Rod blank. Hope this helps
Beautiful guys! Keep em coming and as close up as possible or as high resolution as possible. If they won't upload here, send them to sam@atlanticanglers.com
I may pick from several to have in the header of different forum pages and the best one will go in the New "ROD BUILDING FORUM"![]()
Here's a few
Guys, could you please upload them here instead of being hosted on another site?
Thanks!!
Here are a couple pics of the RS 1569 I am working on.
This is my first attempt at a surf rod, so nothing fancy here.

Sometimes pics linked from another site disappear. It's already happened to many threads here.
When that happens, the post loses all context.
It looks bad to have messages citing a pic, only to have the pic missing.
