Used Yak Scrambler Price

Hi I'm not sure if this is where to post this but I'm curious if someone can tell me if $280 is a good price for a used Scrambler w/ paddle?
Their about $500 new so not really sure

It depends on the condition of it, and how good the paddle it come with is.

If its not beat up and comes with a decent paddle then i would say thats a good deal.

Thanks for the quick reply, but what exactly should I look for as in condition wise on a used Yak?
And as a newbie how can I tell the cost on the paddle other then asking the owner

It's used, so it will probably have scrapes and such on it. As long as it doesn't have any deep gouges on it and floats, it should be ok.
Make sure the hatch seals tight, that's a must. You'll be able to tell.

Of course, ascetics appeal to people, if it has a big brown stain on it from forgetting to move it when the shed was spray painted, well, that's your decision.

The paddle I wouldn't be concerned about. If it isn't your preference, just buy another later and keep the old one in the truck as a spare.

The scrambler is a nice yak, it'll outrun my Oldtown in a heartbeat. My next one is going to be a Scrambler or Prowler.

Nice price if it passes a simple inspection.
