    Default Broke a guide -repair/replace?

Hey guys, dropped my 12.0 and one of the guides cracked and fell out of the metal ring. My question is, can I just bring it by my tackle shop and have a new inner part glued in? or do i have to drop it off and have a whole new guide wrapped onto the pole? Thanks. Pat

If you are willing, you can probably put a new guide on yourself. Its actually really easy to do basic guide wraps and put some finish over it.

If it is the tip top (which I suspect it isn't) they are SUPER easy to replace yourself. Just a small amount of heat and it will usually slide right off unless it was epoxied in place.

    Default badge of honor

Oh well. Guess I'll drop it off today. Darn slate steps... If the wrap is a different color it'll be a badge of honor.

I had so many different colors self-wrapped that I forgot what color it started with! Terry does a great job.
