That fence is proving to be a much bigger deal then I initially thought. Guess I'll have to take down the CC poster I put up after he kicked Wanderlei's head off. I would have paid $150 for the CC Couture fight too, thought it was inevitable. CC's going to have to beat Andre or Sylvia now...hopefully he'll actually train for that fight.

Chuck better watch out, Rampage could continue the trend.

I don't think the fence caused a problem, just got beat. Gonzaga said the whole time "I am going to stand up with him and beat him at his own game", and he did. I still personally don't think he should get a title shot. Cro Cop or Rampage either. I think there should be a minimum number of fights they had in the UFC before they get a shot. I think it is B.S. that Rampage gets a title shot in his second fight with the UFC. Even though it should be a good fight, I still think he should earn his way to the topin the UFC. Rashad Evans is like 15-0 or something and I think he is more deserving of the shot.

Rampage already beat Chuck, he's the fight everyone wants to see.

Well there are no elbows in pride so a couple of those will certainly get you a little foggy and make your stand up suffer. I don't know how much pride you've watched but there are no elbow strikes allowed and they will stand the fight up rather quickly. CC was in a position he's not accustomed to and got what he had comming to him.

I also think the UFC brass had something to do with standing that fight up, no one else would have gotten stood up there, GG was very active on top Couture or Tito would have been let to finish the fight or G-n-P the rest of the round. I have a funny feeling that Herb was pushed a little prior to the fight to stand it up quickly so their new super star wouldn't get pounded out on the ground...talk about a backfire. GG was definitely the better fighter that night under UFC rules.

All I was sayin is that personally I think Rashad deserves the shot more that rampage. I don't really care for him but he is undefeated and has quite a few fights in the UFC. I think he should get the shot, but after a few more fights if he earns it. There are quite a few fighters in that weight class that I think he should "walk over" first. Just my opinion though.
