Default I just saw a meteor

12:14 AM

I was sitting out on my deck, looking at Orion, pondering my own existance and wondering what tensile strength his bow holds, when I saw a meteor flash across the sky across the right side of his belt.

Anyone else see this?

Bob, I saw it in the exact location you described. It was odd because at that point Orion was just above the horizon so it was a great display of fire as it burned up in the atmosphere. This one was unique because of the angle of the burn, it's the first I've seen like that. As it burned and fizzled out it probably left a fire trail the length of Orion's belt in the sky.
