Talking Sorry Bob gotta call you out

I was listening to the Rude Awakening show this morning and they were discussing anacronyms.... such as snafu and fubar, ones we all know. Well I found out what bohica stands for.... bend over here it comes again.

now i hope that i am not the last one to figure this out but it's still pretty funny. What a name for a boat(which stands for: break out another thousand).

I think that is why I like Bob so much! I wanted to name my boat... well...
OK.. I'll save that for a beer or two....

But!
For all you SELF EMPLOYED people that own Small/Med/Large companies... Thats is what it feels like EVERY DAY of my LIFE!

Bohica.

Ok, here's how the name came about....

I bought the boat last year, it's a 1983 hull with a 99 motor. So, obviously it needed a lot of stuff to get her ready for the water. Such as:

GPS/FF - $1100
DSC/VHF - $200
Stainless steel mounts and hardware - $250
New Top - $950
Etc, etc...

So, my dad and I were discussing the fact that a boat is really just a hole in the water that you fill with money, and the fact that the vendors in OC for the most part see you coming.....BOHICA

Someone told me once that the 2 happiest days for boat owners are the day they buy it and the day they sell it....

(although I'm sure there are a few happy fishing days in between)

I dunno, I was pretty bummed out when my dad sold his 22' GW. Caught alot of big fish on her. Still miss her in some ways, don't really miss the pounding though.
