Question Would Like to Catch a Dogfish in RI

What do I need in the way of line , leader and such to catch a godfish ? I would like to try it , I hear they taste better than Chicken . I currently have 11' rod , okuma reel, running 50lb. braided line and 2' 60 lb. test steel leader . Any suggestions would be appreciated . don't hesitate to contact me directly @ Birdddogs1964@verizon.net .
Thank You ,
Rebekah

Hello Rebekah,
Just use a standard top/bottom rig with 2/0 hooks and any kind of fresh ocean bait. You can use lighter line too.
