I'm very curious to see how things will change over there now. That is a pretty big change. That is quick justice for sure.

Impressive their law requires the executions be carried out within 30 days. What is the average in the US? 15 years? 20?

Anyway - I find if fascinating watching that tape - wondering what was going on in his mind....

I've seen more than just that tape.
It looks like someone beat him up, his face is battered up.

I realize the things he has done are beyond comprehension. Looking at him walk up to the top of the stairwell (that's what it was) and seeing his face is frightening. Not just for him, but the realization that you are really going to die. It's a very sobering thought. He got what the Iraqi courts ordered and it was carried out.

There are other parts of the tape that have not been released to the public yet and they are not nice. Not as bad as the beheading of others though.
If you ever have the opportunity to see and hear any or all of them, loud crashing trap door, Hussein swinging and the others beheading, don't watch them, you will never forget the sounds....
Just don't do it....

I agree with not watching them... It isn't worth it.

I think in this case having him be the girlfriend of Bubba in a nice southern pen for the reaminder of his life would be a better punishment.

Default Bubba in the pen

I agree with Ben, still not to the level of what the man deserves for everything he did to his own people, still the thought of him being passed around a prison in Mississippi for the rest of his life makes me chuckle.

You gotta give the new Iraqi government one thing, they put an express "checkout" in their legal system.
