6/24 sound
fished in the sound from 5-9 in the yak. launched at the oi boat ramp and paddled/fished to my fall flounder holes. the water was extrememly low and I had to get out and hike part of the way. the holes were full of grass. the flats were above water. there were tons of mullet around. saw 2 stingrays, almost stepped on one. did step on a flounder. figured to keep on paddling. paddled to the pond and ancored up and started casting gulps. kept getting little fish bites and figured they were either lizardfish of pinfish. they were small croaker. I hooked one in the mouth and snagged 6 more. very frustrating. sun went down and paddled the 30 minutes back to the boat ramp to load up. found some new spots I want to try some time soon.
