Lake Norman???
Anyone ever fished here? I have a buddy that moved down to Charlotte a couple years ago and lives in a waterfront community. I am going to to visit him 17-20 apr and we plan on fishing all weekend. I know the lake holds, Stripers, LM Bass, Catfish etc. But I also know that the lake is huge. He is looking to buy a boat, but we've decided to rent one for the weekend if he doesn't have one yet....

Lake Norman
Lived there and fished there for 12 plus years. The stripers love the thread fin shad for live bait and the chartruise shad trolled 20 to 40 feet deep. LM bass all around the coves and around the dam

Lived there for 12 years as well and only fished it two/three times. I know it holds fish, but can get crowded in the summer, glad your going in the spring!
